(4.20) Sabrina's bratty cousin Amanda (Emily Hart) comes for a visit. Sabrina decides to force Amanda to "grow up" by treating her like a plant. Amanda is seen buried up to her knees in dirt in a large flower pot. Her arms are tied to a trellis, both arms bent at the elbow, one pointing up and one pointing down, simulating vines. Also in this episode, Sabrina materializes concrete blocks around Amanda's hands. Amanda is later seen trying to drag the blocks across the floor. Sabrina also creates a crude pillory as a gift for Amanda, but it is not used. |

In the morning, police find the victim strangled to death by her own saliva. Apparently she was gagged, but not shown. Poor lighting and a rather dark scene. |

In one of those unexplainable tie-up mysteries, Davis is bound with her hands in front (her boyfriend hands in back), which allows her to remove her boyfriends gag. He then uses his teeth to remove Davis' gag, who then uses her teeth to free his hands. |

In a couple fairly short shots, we see her in a van, tied (hands behind, ankles together) with cloth strips, and eventually cleave-gagged. The big payoff arrives at the end of the episode. Now detective gagged and retied hands-behind with rope (though we only see the actual bonds in a couple quick final shots), she's held by the throat by her kidnapper for several minutes as he engages in a standoff and war of words with the good inspector. |

Around 42' in, she's seen bound hand (behind) and foot, and gagged with shiny brown packing tape, seated on the floor of his hideout. Several shots of her. About 51' in, there's a very brief and dark shot of her in the back of the van, bound and gagged as before and now blindfolded. Finally, a couple of minutes or so thereafter, she's discovered physically unharmed in a church by a clergyman, restrained as in the previous scene. The above's derived from the A&E airing. The PBS version that I saw originally includes a quick shot of her being carried and loaded into the van, bound, gagged and blindfolded, at some point between the 42' and 51' scenes. |
