Record number: 448 Title: Patty Hearst (1988) Medium: Movie Actress: Natasha Richardson, Jodi Long Description: Near the start of the film Patty Hearst (Natasha Richardson) is bound with hands in front, blindfolded, cleave-gagged with a knotted cloth, and then stuffed into a trunk of a car. She is wearing a blue bathrobe. The scene is very brief and poorly lit. She is blindfolded for most of the first half hour. There's a scene where she's blindfolded and topless in the bathtub. At 81m the police catch up with her and the gang. A plainclothes officer has her up against the wall and cuffs her hands behind her back. The next scene shows her sitting with Wendy Yoshimura (Jodi Long) in the back of a police car. Wendy raises her hands to brush her hair back, which lets us see her hands are cuffed in front of her. Patty's hands are also cuffed in front as well. The car pulls up in front of a police station, and the two are escorted inside while the media takes lots of pictures and yells a lot of questions. The next scene shows Patty brought to the booking station within the police station, still cuffed. |
