At 38 mins he kidnaps Maya (Alba), an incredibly cute recurring grad student character (Lackey) and the Maya's male friend at gunpoint. All three are next shown seated on the floor of a lab with their backs against a supporting post, hands bound behind (no visible bonds), ankles tied in front with white rope, and cleave gagged with thin strips of white cloth. Both damsels mmpphh, struggle and wriggle their legs cutely as their captor sets fire to the lab. They are then rescued at 41 mins. Lighting is somewhat dim, but we get a good variety of close-ups and full-body views. Alba wears a pink T-shirt, jean shorts, white socks and white shoes, whilst Lackey wears a white buttoned shirt, brown shorts and is barefoot; both are showing a lot of leg. |

Record number: 1608 Title: Adventures of Superman (1952) Medium: TV Series Actress: Phyllis Coates, Ann Doran Description: Episode: "Night of Terror" (1.06) Lois Lane (Coates) and Mrs. King (Doran) are imprisoned at a campground owned by King. They are bound back to back, and detective gagged with white cloths. The crooks are waiting for a triggerman named "Babyface", when Jimmy Olsen arrives searching for Lois, they assume he's the killer and give him a gun with two bullets to finish off the damsels. Olsen releases the women, however almost immediately they become suspicious and recapture the trio. Fortunately Superman arrives just in time. Overall a good scene of moderate length where Lois struggles mightily against her bonds. Ms. Coates is grabbed in a phone booth while talking to Jimmy around the 10' mark (TVLAND airing). There are three separate bondage shots, with the first occuring about 16' in. They're freed around the 21' mark. |

Record number: 968 Title: Batman (1966) Medium: TV Series Actress: Yvonne Craig Description: Episode: "The Great Escape"/"The Great Train Robbery" (3.21 & 3.22) Taken hostage by Shame (Cliff Robertson) and his gang, Batgirl's hands are tied behind her back and she is tightly cleave gagged with a triangularly folded red bandanna. She is first shown like this at 20-23mins of episode 3.21 (on the Blu-ray release), but only in brief shots in between a lot of dialogue. Continues in episode 3.22, at 7-10mins. She is still gagged as before, but now being led around with a rope lassoed around her waist. At some point she is ungagged offscreen, as her captors fight it out with Batman and Robin. Whilst this goes on, she uses the edge of a sword to cut away at her wrist bindings (which we now see is a leather strap). |
