Record number: 1062 Title: Urban Legend (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Alicia Witt, Danielle Harris Description: Long scene beginning about an hour and 25 minutes in, with Witt (wearing a black tank top) spread-eagled on a bed. Her hands are tied to the railing of the steel bed with grey rope. The mystery killer tape gags her with a short strip of wide black electrical tape, which is later removed. She then trys to bite the villain, who regags her. Lots of screaming and struggling. When this aired on USA, the scene came in later, due to commercials. I believe it popped around the last fifteen minutes. In any event, it occurs after Ms. Witt hears screaming from a building and rushes to help. Bonus: At around the 43' mark (USA), another young woman (Harris) is handgagged before meeting an untimely end. |

Record number: 8899 Title: Spun (2002) Medium: Movie Actress: Chloe Hunter Description: While this is a "drug film" (and therefore definitely not for all tastes), the DiD scenes are modern classics. Cute blonde Hunter plays April, a young woman in desperate need of a more considerate/less drugged-out boyfriend. At the 20-minute mark (DVD chapter 2), said boyfriend Ross ties her spreadeagled and naked to a bed, with handcuffs on her wrists and black ropes on her ankles. (Incidentally, nudie-watchers should know that her pubic region is blurred out throughout these scenes in the R-rated version; an unrated version is also available, however.) They have what she clearly considers some great sex, but things quickly go sour when Ross gets a call from the local meth cook, who needs a favor. Despite her protests, and promising to be back soon, he leaves her tied to the bed -- but not before gagging and blindfolding her with a strip of duct tape over her mouth and two over her eyes. 41 minutes in (DVD chapter 10), having been gone longer than he expected, Ross suffers a crisis of conscience and calls April on speakerphone to apologize. Of course, she isn't in any position to hold up her end of the conversation -- but luckily for us, the subtitles are there to translate the mmmphing. ("Ross! You son of a bitch!" "Get the fuck back here!" "Motherfucker!") In the third scene, just a couple minutes later, Ross returns and apologetically unblindfolds and ungags his beloved. Of course, she immediately screams "You motherfucker!" Bad call on her part: Ross quickly gags her again. Skip to 49 minutes in (DVD chapter 15), when Ross once again gets an untimely phone call. He briefly ungags April, and she reiterates her case for being untied, but Ross continues to have other ideas. Yep: more gaggage and blindfolding ensues, despite an animated dream sequence of Ross's in which April turns liquid, slips out of her bonds, and exacts her revenge. The DVD features an additional deleted scene, "Trashed," in which Ross's neighbor finds April and unties her. |

Pretty good scene with some good mmpphing. A few minutes later, she is captured by the baddies and tied hand over her head to a bed with barbed wire. She is also gagged with a black leather strap between the teeth. Lots of struggling and talking through the gag. Unfortunately, the gag talk is easily comprehensible, marring an onterwise great scene. She is later rescued. Scene lasts a few minutes. Earlier in the movie, Carly (Chriqui) is briefly handgagged by Jeremy Sisto. |

| @1:36am CKVR Record number: 3194 Title: Walker, Texas Ranger Medium: TV Series Actress: Unknown, Unknown Description: Episode: "Wedding Bells", Part 2 (8.25) Two flight attendants are found kneeling bound hands behind and cleave gagged with thick pink cloths in the back of the plane by Chuck Norris. A very brief scene that takes place between the 30 and 40' marks. @2:35am CKVR Record number: 6256 Title: Tracker Medium: TV Series Actress: Larissa Gomes Description: Episode: "Trust" (1.4) Larissa plays Lina, a kidnapped victim who is trapped in a glass cage which is slowly filling with water. She is seen kneeling in the cage because both her wrists are handcuffed to a metal pipe along the bottom of the structure. No gag. A video camera is broadcasting her situation to her rich daddy's computer so he is persuaded to pay the ransom. First scene occurs around the 20 minute. mark. Over the next 15 minutes, there are occasional glimpses on the computer showing the water level rising. There is one additional scene where Lina is seen in the trunk of a car with some rope around her. It's extremely brief, and you really can't tell if her hands are bound. Again no gag. This is the final scene around the 45 minute. mark. @11:35am TFC Record number: 1810 Title: You Wish Medium: TV Series Actress: Harley Jane Kozak Description: Episode: "Bride and Prejudice" (1.12) The Genie's fiancee is extremely jealous of his lovely master Gillian (Kozak). So much so that she ties the lovely damsel to some railroad tracks and cleave-gags her with a nice red bandanna. Later in the episode, the fiancee ties Gillian to a rocket and fires her off into outer space. Well it is a comedy. @1:00pm Showcase Record number: 1388 Title: Once a Thief Medium: TV Series Actress: Sandrine Holt Description: Episode: "Mac Daddy" (1.5) Her hands are bound in front and her ankles tied. She is gagged on-screen as the villian tapes her mouth with duct tape. She is seen on a gurney, later in a car trunk. There is also a little over-the-shoulder carry while she isbound and gagged. The scene occurs in the last 20 minutes of the episode. @1:00pm Series+ Vertiges, ep: "Parfum de meurtre" Record number: 9728 Title: Gefährliche Lust - Ein Mann in Versuchung (1998) aka Scent of Seduction Medium: Movie Actress: Unknown Description: Two women are chained arms overhead as part of an advertising segment. | Late alert for this one. See database for this one. One caveat for this one. Most screenings I've seen of this one is in the wide screen format. I don't know how you feel about this but it definetly affects the scene for the worse. It makes the scenes look farther away than in the way we're used to watching movies on TV. At least to me this classic shows that even an unappealing woman can look sexy in a great gag. Of course that depends on how you feel about the did Tessie O'Shea. She's the gossippy switchboard operator who in this small town gets grabbed by the Russians about midway through this long movie and is tied with telephone cord. She & Carl Reiner gets tied up with her and both are gagged with tight black otm gag. The male interference mars the scene somewhat, but not too badly for me, since Carl's gag turns to a cleave quickly and Tessie's stays a tight otm. One of the few male and female gag scenes where the female has the best gag. This is a long movie so it's hard to say where the scene occurs other than to say that it begins in the middle and runs through a much of the rest of the movie. One of the great comic bondage scenes. |
