In the last 5mins, Elizabeth catches Dori (Martin) snooping around her locker at police HQ. The fiery redhead sneaks up behind Dori, slams her head against the door to knock her out, hoists her up onto her shoulder and pats her on the butt for good measure! In the next sequence, she makes a threatening phone call to Sledge as we see Dori in the background; she is sitting on a chair, hands tied to the armrests with white rope, more rope around her arms and waist, feet tied together, and tightly cleave gagged with a thin black cloth. Sledge soon enters the house and finds Dori, who mmpphhs frantically with a wide-eyed expression to warn him about Elizabeth sneaking up behind him. They of course get into a fight, leaving Dori to struggle and tip her chair over onto the floor, mmpphhing continuously. She continues to struggle and roll around, and even manages to stand up and hobble while still tied to the chair. A missed kick towards Elizabeth sees Dori fall backwards again, but this time the chair smashes to pieces, allowing her to free herself onscreen. Bonus: she wears a really short miniskirt. On the season 2 DVD, in addition to the actual episode, there is one feature ("Gun Crazy") where Martin discusses the fun she had doing the bound and gagged fight scene. There is also a minor scene at 9mins, when Elizabeth is handgagged by Sledge during a struggle at his apartment. Record number: 25933 Title: Dating a Killer (2021) aka The Secrets She Keeps Medium: TV Movie Actress: Emily Miceli, unknown Description: In the opening minutes, a cute East Asian damsel (unknown) is shown being held captive at a lakeside cabin. She is sitting on a chair, hands duct taped behind one side of the backrest, and gagged with a wide strip of duct tape. We get several vivid close-ups of her gagged face and bound hands, but no full-body views. The tape looks well-sealed, and her expressions are suitably helpless and terrified. After she manages to get her hands free using a loose nail, she VERY slowly peels off the tape from her mouth in a prolonged close-up; clearly it was realistically sticky, as it visibly pulls her lips and cheek back. Unfortunately, she fails to make it far into the woods until her captor shoots her dead with a crossbow. Another cute brunette, Amara (Miceli), is kidnapped at 1hr 13mins by an accomplice of the crossbow killer, the former of whom she is dating. He has spiked her drink as they chat, and when she passes out he carries her over his shoulder into a pickup. Amara wakes up at the same cabin as before, duct taped on a chair just like the earlier damsel, but no gag for her yet as they need to have the obligatory conversation about her ransom. After several minutes she convinces him to free her hands (onscreen in close-up again), which gives her a chance to escape when she throws coffee in his face. She makes it through the woods and to a road, and happens to flag down her friend Becky (Sage Kelley), who drives her to safety.......or so she thinks. Much to Amara's horror, she learns that Becky is crossbow killer's sister. Amara is then handed over to him at 1hr 22mins. In the last 5mins, Amara's mother Diane (Zoe Cramond) discovers her in a storage room at her workplace. Amara is again sitting on a chair, hands duct taped (camo-pattern this time) behind the backrest, feet unbound, and she very tightly cleave gagged with a torn strip of black cloth. The crosscow killer spends a while menacing them both, until Diane manages to knock him out with a fire extinguisher. One more close-up when she rips the tape off Amara's hands and they share a hug, and in an interesting touch, Amara is led out of the room still gagged. All times based on the Lifetime VOD broadcast without commercials. | GREAT one!! Title: Jupiter's Darling (1955) Medium: Movie Actress: Esther Williams, Marge Champion Description: The plots of Esther Williams' movies defy description, but here goes: Hannibal's men captures the lovely Amytis (Williams) and her slave girl (Champion) outside the gates of Rome as the two are trying to catch sight of Hannibal. After about 50' into the movie, the red-haired Amytis takes Hannibal (Howard Keel) to a temple so that she can show him a way into the city or Rome. Hannibal singing brings the Roman army to investigate. Amytis then screams, which causes Hannibal to handgag her. He proceeds to silence her with a two-piece gag and binds her wrists behind her back. Hannibal fights several soldiers, while Amytis sits there and watches. He then carries her over his shoulder to his chariot, and escapes from attacking Roman soldiers with the mewing Williams seated in the back of his chariot. As he rolls into camp, Hannibal proceeds to throw her out of the chariot with her still bound and gagged. Her slave girl arrives and proceeds to ungag her. Amytis is dragged into Hannibal's tent with her arms still bound behind her back in order to beg for her life. He eventually unties her. A while later, Hannibal finds out who she really is and has her chained up. We only see this when the ex slave man enter the tent to unchain the slave girl at 76'. Amytis (Williams) is chained standing against a pole with her hands down beside her. Her blonde slave girl (Williams) is chain sitting disconcertedly on a pillar. The man takes the slave girl with him, but she goes back into the tent and wants to be chained up again. She manages to knock him out and proceeds to escape with Amytis The script (fashioned by Dorothy Kingsley) includes these two priceless lines: "Chain me up again!" and "I'll deliver you to your lover and throw you at his feet, bound and gagged." |
