Record number: 1198 Title: MacGyver Medium: TV Series Actress: Kristen Meadows Description: Episode: "Strictly Business" (6.19) She's loosely gagged with a red scarf knotted in her mouth and tied in a horizontal upper-half spreadeagle in a very unusual position, underneath an elevator car in a mine shaft (the floor of the car is made of steel mesh to which she is tied). The arch-villain Murdoch has attached an explosive to the car's cable and lit a fuse, so the cable will break and drop her and the car into the shaft when the explosive detonates, unless, of course, Mac can rescue the damsel. An extensive set of scenes lasting the last twenty minutes of the episode. |

Record number: 1004 Title: Hard Rain (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Minnie Driver Description: Taken captive by a crooked sheriff's deputy in a town being flooded, she's lying on her back on a stairway in her house, her hands cuffed between the top two rails of the bannister. She manages to get a knife out of her pocket and uses it to stab him in the neck when he comes on to her. As the water rises around her, she tries to pull his body toward her with her foot to get the handcuff keys; when this fails, she's forced to climb the stairs, stopping to take screws out of the top rail to get the cuffs past the supports several times as the sequence continues. Her boyfriend shows up soon after she reaches the top-and the water reaches her neck-and ultimately rescues her by shooting the handcuffs with the deputy's gun, after failing to cut through the bannister with a saw when its blade breaks. The sequence starts at about an hour and 10 minutes, and continues for most of the rest of the movie. |

He grabs her arms, ties them to the bedpost above her head, and cleave gags her with a fairly loose cloth gag. The sheriff then hides behind the bed and shoots Billy as he enters. The same scene is shown 4 or 5 times in the last 15 minutes. |

No gags. |
