Record number: 1307 Title: Columbo (1992) Medium: TV Series Actress: Joanna Going Description: Episode: "No Time to Die" (11.02) In this feature-length episode (sometimes presented as a standalone TV movie), Going plays a bride kidnapped on her wedding night. About 20 minutes in, she's shown lying on a mattress on the floor of an otherwise empty room, wearing a full white slip with white stockings and her ankles bound with rope. She has lost her shoes in the struggle and when she awakens in the empty room, the scene begins with a great closeup of her bound stocking feet. It's implied her hands are tied behind her, but they aren't shown clearly. She's gagged with a piece of wide white adhesive tape. In a flashback, her abduction is shown; as she hangs up her wedding dress while her new husband takes a shower, a man in a surgical mask, armed with a scalpel, approaches as she recoils in horror. He comes up behind her, hand-gags her, and warns her not to scream as he menaces her with the scalpel. Then he reaches into his pocket and produces a chloroform-soaked cotton pad with which he renders her unconscious. About 20 minutes later, she's again shown bound and gagged on the mattress. This time, her captor enters the room and makes a big production of warning her not to scream when he removes the tape, before ripping it off and untying her. The ropes on her wrists are finally shown for a few seconds as he slices through them with the scalpel. Record number: 26249 Title: Dune (2021) Medium: Movie Actress: Rebecca Ferguson Description: Lady Jessica (Ferguson) gets captured offscreen along with her son. At 1hr21min we see Lady Jessica along with her son bound, sitting on seats inside an aircraft. Both of them have their hands bound behind their backs with some sort of rope and their ankles are also bound. While her son ungagged, Lady Jessica is OTM gagged with a some sort of material that looks a bit like latex or shiny black tape wrapped around her mouth. They remain like that for the next 5 minutes and we get a couple of nice close ups from the gagged Lady Jessica. At 1hr26min her son controls the captor and orders him to ungag and untie his mother. The captor ungags Lady Jessica but almost immediately she gets handgagged by another captor. Lady Jessica bites his hand and eventually she and her son manage to release them selves and escape. The scene is a bit dark and Ferrguson doesn't make any sound at all while she is gagged. There are some nice close ups of her gagged face and her bonds but all of them combined the scene focusing only on Ferguson lasts one minute maximum. Nevertheless her gag looks great. While its not a complete dissapointment it could have been way better.
