Record number: 18119 Title: Jack Taylor Medium: TV Series Actress: Emma Eliza Regan, Nora-Jane Noone Description: Episode: "The Dramatist" (2.01) Irish series based on the novels of the same name. At 28mins Regan is handgagged and dragged away into the night by a masked man. When next shown at a hidden location, at 36mins, she is bound to a chair (wrists tied to the armrests with rope, feet untied) and her attire has been changed to that of a long, green stageplay-style dress. Teary-eyed and with streaks of mascara down her face, she is forced to recite a line from a play into a microphone. A pair of the series' detectives discover her dead in an abandoned building at 43mins; she is stood up, arms outstretched above her sides with rope and tied to some kind of stage prop, essentially as part of a decorative display. Also, her neck has been broken. Much later, at 1hr 10mins, the killer reveals himself and surprises series regular Noone in a lift at gunpoint. From 1hr 15-25mins she is shown tied to a chair like Regan, but with some differences. Firstly, her attire is a red dress instead. Secondly, she is cleave gagged with a thick rolled-up grey cloth. This is taken out quite soon, but is left to hang down her neck. Towards the end of the scene, however, her captor stuffs a large white cloth in her mouth; onscreen in a great close-up. When we next see her, the earlier grey cloth is now an OTM with the packing underneath, behind which she mmpphhs and moans. When a male friend comes to her rescue, he pulls down the OTM and she spits out the packing. She is then untied offscreen.
