Here current favoured system to Australia: You read the VHS Machine Alerts page, see what you after. You get someone to tape for you. Stress "SP" mode. You may get lucky and pair up with a wizard who'll get abunch on the tape like this, but most of the time you're going to get either 2 hr eps, or 4 1/2hr eps on the tape. Average tape mail time between Canada & Australia averaging 3 to 4 weeks. One thing to keep in mind, you said spent "50 dollars (US)" So say with rough conversion for mailing, you're looking at 9 to 10 tapes with average two eps on them. Again, unless you pair up with a wizard. You normally get many more scenes on those US collector tapes than you would doing this system. ======================== 2nd Suggestion: Have to check into this, but sure the Major was able to convert tapes, as well as his collector DVDs [Homepage Link if want to check, or email: silent_night_022003@yahoo.com] Recall him explaining the system awhile back, but with the DVDs the more favoured between overseas traders for same reasons, not sure still be doing the tapes or not? | OK, over on the Discussion board, I expressed some interest in seeing clips from "Seed of Chucky" so I wouldn't have to rent a godawful movie I have no desire to see.
That post was deleted. I don't intend to get something for nothing. Somewhere I still have a copy of Peyton List's scene from ATWT that got blacked out for most of the country because of the Reagan funeral. I now have two VCRs. Once I slap these together, I should be able to offer a copy of the scene. I happen to think the ATWT scene is worth more than the Jennifer Tilly scenes, but feel free to make an offer. |
