The description for Thursday, January 6th’s movie, Deadly Dance Competition/ Dancer in Danger is pretty detailed and states that a mother, played by Natasha Wilson, is looking for her daughter, played by Brooke Maroon, who’s been abducted. It mentions that the mother is knocked out and abducted herself and when she wakes up she’s in a boiler room and see her daughter “confined”. ~~~~ Unusually detailed synopsis: "High school student Reagan can’t wait to finish her latest dance video for an online contest. Her mother Beth couldn’t be prouder. Suddenly, Reagan goes missing. Beth turns to two people for help: Reagan’s best friend Lina and Lina’s father, Kyle. Beth can’t help but suspect Samantha, Reagan’s biggest rival in the dance contest, and Samantha’s friend Mona. As Beth gets closer to the truth, Kyle knocks her out and abducts her. Beth wakes up in the school’s boiler room, where she sees Reagan confined. Mona is there, watching them. Mona admits she and Kyle have been having an affair. When Reagan and Lina were filming, they accidentally filmed Mona coming out of Kyle’s room. If Beth wants to save her daughter, she’ll have to deal with Kyle first. | Merry Christmas To All! Always nice to revisit favorite Xmas damsels in distress fare this time of year. Of course Olivia Dejonge in Better Watch Out is the reigning Queen Of Christmas DiD's. Her amazing turn will take some toppling by some future effort. Thinking of other examples, highly recommend 2007 thriller P2. Starring the stunning Rachel Nichols and her incredible cleavage. She deserved an award for all the trials and tribulations she went through in this film. Chloroformed, tasered, handcuffed, nearly drowned etc etc. Amazingly she wasn't gagged at all which is even more annoying since a putz had an extended wraparound tapegag scene and there were ample opportunities to give her the same. But...that's the way it goes. Still a tremendous all round DiD-in-continuous-peril effort from Rachel. What else is worth watching? Recall a Krampus-themed film a few years back too. |

| P2 is a great little film as I recall. Shame she wasn't gagged but Rachel Nichols never has been iirc. Except a brief stuff gag in Conan which can't have been too memorable as I can't even picture it in my head. Probably aren't too many Xmas-type bondage scenarios in film and tv. None that readily spring to mind anyhow. They should make more! |
