OK. Now it looks fine. Turns out her plump lips made the ball look smaller in the promo. |

Friday December 17 05:05:16 2021 Re: Ragdoll |
Still on a high after seeing this scene it is quite incredible. Lucy looks so gorgeous and that gag is sooo tight! Probably the tightest mainstream ballgag since Gemma Arterton in Alice Creed a decade ago. And good on her for being such a sport in allowing it to be so tight and enduring that and the bondage for endless takes etc while filming. I'm sure she's fully aware of how hot she looks. She recently did a lingerie photoshoot with Dutch outfit hunkemoller while promoting Ragdoll - this scene is the perfect bookend to that shoot. Instant DiD Hall of Fame scene and immortality for Ms Hale. If she does get the full in Borrego, well...even better :). |
Friday December 17 05:18:56 2021 Re: Ragdoll |
Shame she wasn't stripped down to her hunkemoller lingerie during her epic scene. But 'tis a very, very, minor quibble ;). Tell all you DiD fans out there this much - this great end to the year we've had in the final couple of months(starting probably with Paraiso)has me very excited for an absolute plethora of great scenes in 2022! Is like the covid-induced mainstream DiD drought has broken and there's almost a celebration of the trope. Most excellent :). |

Lucy certainly worked her scene to the max - she got her 15 mins(or 3 and a half lol)of bondage fame and how! The suspension apparatus reminded me of the Don't Breathe rig. Loved that she was gagged the entire time and without rescue she simply wouldn't have escaped, period. Kudos to the writer for imagining this classic peril scenario and to the production team for bringing it to life so vividly. Bravo. |
Friday December 17 06:41:29 2021 Re: Ragdoll |
Would have been nice to see that tight ball go 'pop' when it came out of her mouth, and yes, surprised the nutjob didn't strip those baggy clothes off her(imagine THAT). However on the plus side Lucy has the most kissable mainstream gagged lips. Along with Gemma Arterton in Alice Creed, Clare Kramer in Endure and Emma Roberts in The Hunt. Just wow! |
Friday December 17 07:07:56 2021 Re: Ragdoll |
> Would have been nice to see that tight ball go 'pop'... Indeed. Would have been a nice long drool trail in the wake of that ballgag's removal. There would have been nice indent marks on each cheek too where the straps were cutting in. That gag was definitely that tight for her entire scene. From what you can see of the strap behind her neck it was probably fastened as tight as it could be, the last strap-hole basically. Dedication to the craft there Lucy! |

There are two scenes, one where she imagines the image of she and the guy front hog tied and then decides to re-write it by deleting the image. The second scene shows here in a chair zip tied hands and feet while brad pitt comes in to rescue her. Neither scene had a hint of a gag |

There is a high probability that Kaya Scodelario will get a lot of good scenes soon. The peak of the career of this actress has passed, after the release of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure, she starred in low-budget films, miniseries and unsuccessful TV series canceled after one season. And after the recent failure of Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City, it is quite possible for her to participate in films with Bruce Willis in the title role (which almost guarantees a bondage scene for actresses), as happened with Megan Fox. |

Friday December 17 15:28:48 2021 It’s always sunny in Philadelphia (possibility) |
A possible scene for Kaitlin Olson and maybe an Irish actress next week. This weeks episode had her storyline end with (spoilers) her brother knocking her out in a castle as she heard screaming (possibly the Irish actress). Again this is all speculation but it’s a possibility. |

Friday December 17 16:52:15 2021 Re: Kaya Scodelario |
Agree that Kaya's career is - sadly for her but probably happily for "us" - on a downward trajectory. The Resident Evil films were never high art but had a certain c-grade charm with Milla Jovovich always giving 110% to her role. This prequel or whatever it is looks pretty average. So if Kaya is entering a horror/thriller phase in her career since the film Crawl she could well get some good scenes. And she's still the right side of 30 and very beautiful. She may well sign up for a tv series too which could provide opportunities in the way Ragdoll has that everyone(rightly so too)is waxing lyrical about lately. Time will tell. Kaya's next film is with Pierce Brosnan. A period-piece I.T. scene would rock ha ha. |

Later on, she gets kidnapped for real, which is when her arms and legs get ziptied to a chair (but probably not much else). |

It appears to have been loosened slightly during the scene where she's suspended in the air. Given how much she was drooling at the start, they probably did it to keep her from choking/ruining the take. However, the fact that it wasn't loosened significantly is dedication for sure. None of it looks comfortable at all. |
Friday December 17 19:15:39 2021 Re: Ragdoll |
It seems Lucy Hale has set a new standard for mainstream bondage scenes on TV! I hope the directors of all future mainstream bondage scenes will follow the example of Ragdoll and bondage will always be as strict, restraining, tough and uncomfortable for actresses as possible. |

On December 17 2021 (unsigned poster) wrote: > It seems Lucy Hale has set a new standard for mainstream > bondage scenes on TV! Wow, people going a bit overboard here, imo. Or maybe they just came to bondage in the last couple of years. If you're all about gags, I can see that this would be exciting, although it's not the first such scene. As far as the bondage goes, above average I guess but scarcely a "new standard." |

By "new standard" I mean the strictness of her bondage, when she was hung up by her arms and legs and tightness of her ballgag, and not the very fact of its presence. It would be very nice if she was blindfolded too. |

It's just because it's a known actress, if people on this site perseverated on Turkish, Russian or Thai scenes as much as they did Hollywood Actresses; every scene would probably be docuemented. |
Friday December 17 20:00:56 2021 Re: Ragdoll |
For those interested in similar scenes I recommend Finnish TV series Sorjonen S03E01 - Hilma Kotkaniemi, Jessica Grabowsky Both damsels is kept bound to a bed, gagged, blindfolded and earmuffed in the basement. Hilma Kotkaniemi character is blindfolded with a simple strip of cloth and gagged with grey tape. Jessica Grabowsky character is much more interesting. She is gagged with a big black ball gag (very similar to Lucy Hale's ballgag) and blindfolded with what looks like a very thick sleeping mask. A very rare example of full sensory deprivation in mainstream media. Lots of gag-talk from both of them too. |

Let's get off this "new standard" discussion. It's not very productive. Any given scene will a range of reactions. |

Friday December 17 21:08:36 2021 The Witcher - Season 2 |
No gags for us this time round, hits very very mild scene for ciri and yennefer, ciri at one point gets strapped to a bed and funnily enough gets annoyed at Geralt for realising her and at one point yennefer is chained, tied? I dunno to a chair by some guards but it’s very brief. But of a sloppy post this but just wanted to let some people know if they were expecting something as big as Freya’s scene in season 1 but ultimately disappointing |
Friday December 17 21:36:07 2021 Las Vegas |
In case anyone is still paying attention to repeats of TV reruns with scenes - E! channel is presently showing a long string of the Las Vegas TV series. Last I looked, they were on the later episodes of season 2. These will run until late Monday morning, and go into season 5. This bunch of shows would include the best of the scenes from this show, which IIRC includes the scene with Vanessa Marcil... which some people in the past have claimed that this is the best TV episode ever. |

Gags do seem to be getting more effective in general in mainstream the last few years, going the extra mile for effective muffling. El Practicante, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Paraiso, plus excellent Euro and Asian scenes. V.nice to see. Snobs will be excited for next year's output if this trend is set to continue. |
