Friday October 21 02:50:10 2016 Possibility for Amy Smart in "Avengers of Justice: Farce Wars" |
So, currently, there's a parody movie being shot in Louisiana I believe called "Avengers of Justice: Farce Wars", basically mocking superhero movies and Amy Smart is playing the kidnapped wife of the superhero in the movie. Might be worth keeping an eye on this. |

Friday October 21 17:05:08 2016 General Hospital (2016 Oct 21) |
In today's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL (ABC, 3:00 PM eastern), "Maxie Jones" (Kirsten Storms) is sitting in a chair in a basement with her hands bound to the back legs of the chair with gray duct tape. She is not gagged. The gag from Thursday's episode is no longer around her neck. Her feet are not bound. She is holding a screw in her right hand which she uses to try to cut the tape. Eventually, she succeeds in cutting the tape and gets loose. Her captor returns and she pretends to still be bound. Then, she tries to escape but is grabbed by her captor. Later, she is sitting in the chair with her hands bound to the arms of the chair with gray duct tape. Her feet are bound to the legs of the chair with gray duct tape. She is still not gagged. Then, her captor disconnects something on the water heater (or something like that) to let gas flow into the basement in order to kill Maxie. The preview for Monday's episode shows her in the same situation: her hands and feet bound to the chair, not gagged, and in danger from the gas. This is one of the most frustrating bondage scenes of all time. It is absolutely ridiculous that she is not gagged at any time in this episode. Even if they did not have her gagged so that she could engage in conversation with her captor, that is no longer an issue after he releases the gas and leaves the basement. With her mouth not gagged, there is nothing to prevent her from screaming for help as loudly as she can. Her captor would want to prevent that and would gag her. The preview for the next episode shows Maxie talking to herself as she tries to figure out a way to escape. If they did not have her gagged so that Maxie could talk to herself in order to communicate to the audience what she was thinking, they could have done that another way: she could be gagged and have a voiceover of her talking which represents her thoughts. This scene could be a classic if she was gagged. Instead, what we get is an exercise in frustration. What makes it even more frustrating (and puzzling) is that GENERAL HOSPITAL has a great record for providing quality scenes of women bound and gagged. Their women-in-bondage scenes usually include gags. So what happened in this episode? Also, Maxie was gagged at the beginning of the bondage scene which took place in Thursday's episode. They established that her captor would want to keep her quiet. So why not have her gagged after her captor leaves Maxie in a perilous predicament? |

Sill a classic damsel-in-peril scene, like the old-fashioned GH days |
Friday October 21 18:55:36 2016 General Hospital |
She only needed to be gagged when being transported from the Metro Court hotel to the warehouse. When she was ungagged, her captor told her to scream as loud as she could because no one would hear her. She is obviously somewhere isolated. |

It is only that way because it was put in the script to be that way or because the director decided it to be that way. If they wanted her to be gagged, she would have been gagged. This is fiction. They can put into the scene whatever they want. They can leave out of the scene whatever they want. She was not gagged because somebody (writer? director? actress?) made the decision to not have her gagged. That person could have easily made the decision to have her gagged instead. It is very unusual for GENERAL HOSPITAL to have a scene of a woman bound, in danger, and not be gagged. This leads to the question: what was different about the decision making process about this scene? |

Rapidly heading to non-productive territory. Focus on the scene you got, not the one you wished for. |

I have absolutely no interest in today's scene because of the lack of a gag. I am a complete gag snob. Even if every other aspect of the scene is classic, if there is no gag then I am not interested in the scene. A woman that is bound but not gagged just does not look helpless enough to arouse me. |

Friday October 21 21:51:03 2016 Hawaii 5-O |
Grace Park went into a courtroom posing as a reporter after a gunman stormed the room and took hostages. The gunman finds out and orders her and her male partner to take zipties and zip tie their hands in front. Grace uses her teeth to zip them in place in front. likely wont result in anything more. |

Yep, that's it. Scene of her applying the zip tie and then a few shots of her sitting on her legs with the zipties. nothing much, only real interest is because it's a main character i guess. |

WOW. sorry for 3 straight posts on the same subject guys, but Hawaii 5-O comes back with a killer promo next week. Grace Park kidnapped/captured by a killer. country side setting, looks pretty dark. shots of her AOH chained against a pole, being led hands tied behind her back, and then another shot of a woman, possibly her, laying down and sporting a blue cleave. looks like it should be something good. |
