The said scene in the movie has Anne's character instead be simply drugged or paralysed in the car from a spiked drink her husband gives her. |

| Are there any scenes in the new Netflix show East of Eden? |

Classic, I loooove when adaptions go out of their way to make even dumber convoluted scenes just to avoid bondage which would make more sense |

What about a suffocation scene for Anne Hathaway's character. Per the book, she is suffocated to death, is that scene there or have to changed that as well. |

The suffocation is still there yes, it's about a few seconds of Verity being handgagged then cutting to Dakota Johnson's character before cutting back to a few more seconds of Anne being handgagged and then having her noses be pinched shut, leading to her death. Some nice mmphing during this, which now that I think about it is another change from the books(spoilers)as she does reveal in the movie that she was faking the paralysis right before being choked to death |
| Thursday October 01 11:41:37 2026 River |
| Saw an advanced screening of the new slasher film River last night and what a pleasant surprise to find that Jessica Rothe is tied up and ballgagged in the back of a van for a decent length of time in the middle of the film. Cannot say more. |

| Would've far preferred silver duct tape, but nonetheless good to hear Jessica finally getting the full treatment. She's been on my list ever since Happy Death Day. |
