Yea it's Zoe, Robert Downey Jr and Samuel L Jackson who have been in the largest franchises ever. Maybe the Fast group but if Scorsese doesn't consider super hero movies, movies. No way fast movies count.

A-listers have name recognition. If you asked the average person who Zoe Saldana is, I'd bet 8/10 wouldn't know

Zoe Saldana is officially the highest-grossing lead actor of all time at the worldwide box office, with a career total of over $15.4 billion.

Avatar is where the bulk on the money comes from, not Guardians. But to make this conversation more insightful rather than moving the goalpost. Who do you consider an a=lister above her?
