I just watched that 6-part miniseries "The Radical Story of Patty Hearst", lots of scenes of her gagged (always a knotted cleave, so when she told the cops her story she must have always included that detail!) & blindfolded, and she obviously was okay with THIS show. Maybe cuz there were lots of actual interviews of Patty interspersed with the reenacted footage and maybe Patty felt that at least in this show she could make sure stories stayed straight! Juts a guess though. It's funny though....when they show the footage of real-life Patty telling her story, she mentions being gagged several times. Even in the clips of her tape recordings she sends to her mom & the cops & stuff, she says stuff like "They are treating me pretty good...it's not like I'm always gagged or anything...". Her being gagged must have really made an impression on her! :-) |
