[6153] The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre
Title: The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Dorothea Rundle, Jane Griffiths

Description: Episode: "The Double" (4.07)

In this story from the early 1960s British black and white TV series, sometimes shown in cinemas, two women are seen gagged.

Catching a safecracker by surprise, the safecracker's accomplice covers a matronly woman's face with a pillow. She is soon seen gagged with a white cleave gag and freed by her husband, he also unties her hands but this is not shown
The beautiful Ms. Griffiths plays Jane Winston. As she walks along the hallway in her apartment building, she is handgagged with a white cloth held over her mouth, and dragged into a luggage storage room. She is dressed in a smart period type black skirt and matching jacket and shoes. Oh, and pearls. Very Jackie Kennedy.

She is next seen sitting on the floor bound hand and foot and cleave gagged with a white cloth. There are several individually short scenes. Just let the VCR run. Lots of mmmphing and struggling which only succeeds in bringing a pile of empty luggage down on top of her. Her gag changes from cleave to OTM.

The scene is of decent length overall. It is reasonably well lit for our purposes. Shot mainly in middle-ground but there are some decent close-ups.
