Thursday October 25 12:04:40 2001 Entry 3549 |
The ep title is correct. The lovely Diane Keen, alas, was not the DiD.She is unknown for now.
A group of terrorist assassins take over a family home in a high rise tower block. They intend using it as a platform for they're long range rifle. The attractive housewife/mum is seen sitting on the bedroom floor. She is bound hand and foot, hands behind back, and gagged with a strip of Elastoplast type medical tape through which the contours of her mouth are clearly visible.Husband and male child putz alert. The scene is of the blink-and-you-miss-it variety but there are a couple of decent shots.Well lit.Shot in middle ground. |

Incorrect.
There are TWO DiD scenes in this comedy. The first scene takes place early on.Beautiful blonde Susanna, played by Martha O'Driscoll, dashes out of the haunted house and into what she thinks is a neighbouring house to seek help. She is dressed in a long white nightgown. Caught in a spotlight amid surrounding total darkness, a hand is suddenly clamped over her mouth and, despite her struggling, she is strapped into a mock up of an electric chair complete with metal bowl on top of her blonde head. She is OTM gagged with what appears to be a wide loop of white elasticated material. As she continues to struggle, a "Dance of Death" takes place in another spotlighted space in front of her!Suddenly all the house lights come on to reveal that she centre stage in a nightclub cabaret performance, the whole cast of which proceed to march around her singing, "Three cheers for the customer! The customer is always right!" When she is finally released she tears off her gag and berates them all, prior to being dropped through a trap door which dumps her out into the street. Astonishing scene!Prolonged, about five minutes, well lit and with stunning facial close-up and reaction shots.Varied angles. The second scene takes place nearer to the end.Susanna's dark haired sister Melinda, played by the stunning Gloria Jean is captured by the baddies. She is seen seated on a box being bricked up inside a cellar alcove.Dressed in a period skirt and matching jacket. She is bound with thick rope and gagged identically to her sister in the earlier scene.Initially one and then three putzes with her.She succeeds in freeing herself and tearing off her gag. Of reasonable duration and well enough lit for our purposes, with decent close-up and varied angle shots. This film is very funny and for our purposes an all time classic!!!! |

Thursday October 25 21:54:50 2001 Entries 6169 -6171 |
I ran into some truoble posting a new entry for Heather Locklear for a scene from Melrose Place. When I submitted the entry the first time, nothing happened. After waiting about 5 minutes, I checked to see if the post had made it into the database. My post did not come up. After correcting a typo, I posted the entry once again, and the system acknowleged my post as entry number 6171. When I checked the database, I saw that my first post was listed twice as entries 6169 and 6170. I recommend that you delete entries 6169 and 6170, and leave in entry 6171. Sorry for the multiple posts, but there was something wrong with the system when I posted the first time. |
