Friday September 01 13:47:09 2006 Wycliffe |
I recently saw a Wycliffe episode that I did not find in the database. I posted the following description on Rob's forum in the hope that someone might have a TV Listings magazine that gave the Episode name/number but no luck.
Would anyone here know this scene (or would it be better posted over on Discussion) and would this form the basis of an entry, if only as a marker for people to look out for anything that sounds similar to get the full details? Title: Wycliffe Medium: TV Series Actress: Unknown Description: Episode: unknown Something to do with a horseracing stables. A woman heard an intruder in the stables at night and went to investigate, then was grabbed from behind and chloroformed. At 10 minutes she is seen waking in an outbuilding and finds that there is a length of chain secured to the wall and padlocked around her wrists which are chained in front. She is seen pulling futilely at the chain. At about 13 minutes she is seen again trying to reach a nearby table but unable to do as the chain is too short. At 26 minutes her captor comes down the stairs and drugs her, we see her face and chained wrists in close-up. Unfortunately this is the last we see of her alive as she later turns up dead in a staged car crash. |

Adding timing and details for what I feel is a Classic Scene...
About 43 minutes in [with ads], "Josie" [Larken] finally figures out who the bad guys are. That's to her sorrow because one promptly grabs her, while the other stuff-gags her with a handy handkerchief. Skip to the next scene and we find the lass tightly tied upright to some shelves with ropes at her chest and stomach. The villains also apply a broad strip of black tape for a new gag. The Hulk rescues the girl, but not before she does some 'mmmphing' and flashes some wonderful expressions with her big eyes above her broad gag. Scene lasts about 2 minutes. DiD garb consists of a very nice white blouse and black pants. |

Kim Basinger gets handgagged twice : first, when she's kidnapped from a bar and dragged off by Richard Gere, then some minutes later when they are chased by villains and hiding under a bridge (still handgagged by Richard Gere). |
