[16585] Magazine Girl (2012)
Saw a recent post on Video suggesting that the damsel here is Jana Landis, not Melanie Specht aka Melanie Christine Specht as claimed in the DB. Both women star in the video, but based on my limited research, I think it's reasonably likely that it's Landis and only Landis who gets the gag. (It doesn't help that they look strikingly similar.)

I'd change this myself, but I'm not positive about it and wouldn't mind a second opinion. The video is easy to find on YT.

I'd leave it as is. The first two images are from the video. The third is from Melanie's IMDB page. It certainly looks like the same girl to me. I'd assume that Jana is the singer with somewhat darker hair.

[19729] The Bride He Bought Online (2015)
On Anne Winters' Twitter page for July 22nd:

Q: In the opening scene of The Bride He Bought Online, which of you is the girl in the trunk?

Anne Winters: Mandy (Lauren Gaw).

Not sure how we're handling these, where the later description is more detailed?

Cool...that was my guess, but thanks for confirming! Updated my description in the DB.

Did anyone but Brian's Pagers notice how many "Continuity errors" there were in the opening scene? It's clear that it was filmed on a separate day. :-)

Opening scene: Gaw's head is on the Left side of the car trunk. She's wearing a necklace. Her shoes are brown w/ white laces.

Movie: Gaw's head is on the Right side of the car trunk. In the warehouse basement, her shoes are black w/ black laces. And she's not wearing a necklace -- I believe that was the item that detective Alexandra Paul noticed was laying on the SkatePark parking lot.

Until Winters' tweet, my bet would've been that she was an Extra, which is why her eyes were cropped from the shot. (Not sure why Lifetime would've necessarily needed to tease viewers with which of the trio it is, since the pre-release trailer showed all three would be taken captive).

All things being equal, I tend to keep the original and delete the dupe. If there is something interesting in the dupe, I have merged the two entries on occasion. If the dupe is just out-and-out superior to the original, I keep it and purge the original.

In other words, use your judgement.

The other editors and the mod may have different opinions.

Technically, the later one should be deleted and a
note sent to the contributor. I think Jay L. used to
update the original as needed.

Re: [7011]/[19693] duplicates
Thanks, guys. I added the new stuff from 19693 to 7011, deleted 19693, and dropped Sam a note.
