[25075] NOS4A2
I offer this update to add detail, correct a misperception (alas! The action is not "continual"), and to provide some harmony with Ep 1.04 (although I currently receive '403' ("Forbidden access") when trying to add that Ep). Netflix concurs with Amazon in regard to the overall timings.

Description:
Christmas-themed 'Young Adult' supernatural thriller, in which a simple-minded school janitor becomes an accomplice of a 'strong creative' guy who abducts children to his fantasy world, 'Christmasland'. Two young women, also with mystical powers, try to put things right.

20': Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) is kidnapped by the janitor, the henchman of the show's main villain; he handgags her and then knocks her out with some sort of sleeping gas emanating from a canister whose tube he holds next to her face. (He wears a gas mask.)

23': Vic is in her abductor's basement, in a fully-padded easy chair, mmmphing and grunting; her hands are securely duct-taped behind her back, ankles taped together, and she is gagged with more tape, from cheek to cheek. As in Ep 1.04, he enters with Christmas-themed milk and cookies. He indicates that she should remain quiet, and he removes her gag. Of course, she screams mightily, and so he handgags her, and warns her. He removes his hand, and a short conversation ensues. They had been friends, but no longer. He puts on his gas mask and knocks her out again with his gas. She wears a grey sweatshirt, jeans, and light-duty, short motorcycling boots.

28': Vic comes to, regagged, whimpering and tearful. She casts about her, and then spies a brooch she had attached to one of her boots. However, the guy returns before she can do anything with it. She persuades him to ungag her, and she sows doubts in his mind. Confused, he regags her with the tape and goes upstairs. With effort and grunting, she manages to remove the brooch from her boot, pick it up from the floor, and then sits back on the chair, working the pin of it on her wrist tape. The guy returns. He says he can't let her go because she would tell the main villain, and he would punish him. He removes the gag to permit further conversation. Fortunately, he isn't paying attention, and she continues to work at her wrist tape. He moves in close, and inhales her aroma, prior to the kill.
The brooch finally cuts through the last of the tape, and she slashes at his face with it, following up with a two-footed kick to the groin. She hacks through the tape at her ankles, and is beginning her escape when he grabs a foot. She reaches for the gas canister, and whacks his head with it, before covering her nose and mouth with her shirt, and releasing gas into his face. She races up the stairs and escapes at 37'.

I don't know on these. It's already an extensive description of what is a small scene in reality. Is this a good use of editor time?
