| Clarification on the use of "bonddesc_bed" and "bonddesc_chair": are they meant to be used only when a damsel is bound TO a bed or chair, or if they're bound separately and merely sitting/lying on one? I've tended to go with the latter, but I have no problem with a less broad definition. |

I've honestly never given it much thought. I've been tending to use the tags for chair and bed only when it seems integral to the plot, in other words actually tied to them and/or struggling against them. The equivalent would be bonddesc_post. I'd only use that one when the subject is actually tied to the post, not if they were leaning against it. To another issue, nobody else weighed in with an opinion on how to use date in an entry. Do you still prefer to go with the wide distribution date, rather than the earliest exhibition (as used by IMDB)? |

| I can't see much harm in using "bonddesc_chair" for scenes where a damsel is sat on a chair/couch for a decent amount of time, but not necessarily tied to it. Likewise, it would be an unfortunate omission of detail if "bonddesc_bed" was not used for scenes like Louise Portal in The Klutz, and Juliet Harmer in Danger Man; they aren't tied TO the beds, but they are prominently featured as struggling ON them. As for titles, I'm still a bit torn on them, but for the Lava example I would still prefer to use the widespread distribution date (2002) rather than earliest festival date (2001), regardless of what IMDb promotes. Even before I knew of IMDb some 15yrs ago, all I ever saw was 2002 as the release date. I often disagree with their formats anyway, such as Tatort being a series of TV movies according to them, when I consider it an episodic series. |

Its not like any of this is written in stone and can't be adjusted as necessary. As for Lava, I've changed the date back to 2001, with a note in the text explaining the discrepancy. If you think it needs further clarification, go ahead and add some more. |
