| Title: Charlie's Angels (2011) Medium: TV Series Actress: Aubrey Peeples;Ivana Milicevic; Minka Kelly; 13 Unknowns Description: Episode: "Angel With A Broken Wing" (1.1) The Charlie’s Angels’ reboot begins with the rescue of a kidnapped girl (Peeples). She is first seen in still picture on an iPhone. She is looking directly at the camera with a bored look on her face, and her wrists tied in front of her. The big action sequence comes next, as the Angels bust into the hotel room where she is being held. She is lying tied on the bed, and gagged with a white towel cleave. The gag is partially obscured by a blue bandana which is tied around her neck. The bandana may have been a blindfold in a deleted scene, but serves no purpose in this scene. The girl is tied hands behind her back and her ankles are secured with plasticuffs. Judging by her posture, she may actually be hogtied, but the camera never gives us a view of her back. Later, the villain’s girlfriend (Ivana) is knocked cold and kidnapped by the team. When she comes to, she is seated in a private plane, hands behind her back (we never see what, if anything, is securing them) and the seatbelt holding her in the seat. She is wearing a white evening gown. A little trickery and she gives up the location where the missing Minka Kelly is being held. Minka, having been grabbed by the villain, is suspended by her wrists and being tortured in a warehouse. Minka is wearing a tank top, khaki slacks and combat boots. Her face is already bloody by the time the scene begins, and she writhes in pain as a stun gun is used on her. She still manages to join the fight with her legs when the other angels break in to rescue her. Final scene in the episode is a quickie with the team finding the location where about a dozen girls that are destined for a human trafficking ring are being held. They are sitting on the floor in a semi-circle, wrists plasticuffed in front and secured to chains hanging from the ceiling. |
