| Actress is Ruth Whitney only, a different person that Star Trek regular Grave Lee Whitney. ---------------------------------------- Record number: 3602 Title: The Texan Meets Calamity Jane (1950) aka The Judge Has an Alibi aka Calamity Jane and the Texan Medium: Movie Actress: Grace Lee Whitney aka Ruth Whitney Description: Roughly 55 minutes into the film, Cecelia Mullen (Whitney) appears sitting in a chair bound with rope and loosely gagged with a red bandanna after "Calam" (Evelyn Ankers) kicks open the door to her room after hearing Cecelia's mmphs in response to her knocking on the door. Look closely as the rope is removed, however, and you'll see that it was only wrapped around Whitney's chest and each of her upper arms and neither bound her to the chair nor was tied around her wrists, although she makes a spectacle of rubbing them after pulling them from behind her. |
