Pedantics here, but opinions count........

"peril_gun" and "peril_piercing": are they to be used only when a damsel is in bondage, or during her capture as well? (even if said implements of peril are NOT used during the scene.) I've been going with the latter, in that I include "peril_gun" even if a damsel's captor no longer brandishes it when she's bound.

I'd think they belong if they're used during the initial capture, much as the KO tags rarely apply after the DID is tied. If they're an element of the scene anywhere in the chronology, go ahead and include them.

Another one in need of clarification.......

"ending_death": surely this applies only if a damsel is offed WHILE she's in bondage?

I've been making the mistake of including it if a damsel dies soon/immediately AFTER she's free, rather than "_escape" or "_rescue". Looking at it now, her ultimate fate shouldn't matter; only how she gets free. That's a dumbass move of mine I need to correct in a few entries.

I think you're over-thinking this a little. For me, the scene can run from the initial contacts between abductor and abductee until the final resolution. If we look at a long scene, i.e., "The Collector" DB# 192, it begins with Eggar being stalked on a street, KO'd, carried into a van and driven off. She is then tied and untied several times before she dies at the end of the movie (but quite some time after being released from her last bondage situation).

We can look at this as several short, distinct scenes or one continuous situation. Both views are equally valid, and there is no wrong way to code the tags. The ending_death tag is in the actual entry, but ending_release could apply to the individual segments.

Since we're making this up as we go along, go with your initial impulse when you're writing entries. If you're comfortable with putting the tag in, there probably won't be any complaints from the gallery.
