Has this been a real problem? I suspect it's the guy who

I think its a minor annoyance. The entry from the other day was really long, but as you noted, it was all on-topic. Some of the superfluous details could probably be deleted, but it only takes a few more seconds to read the whole thing. Personally, I'd rather see a slightly verbose entry than one that is so lacking in information as to be virtually useless (and we get more of those than the long ones).

In any event, if we get an entry that is loaded with lots of irrelevant details, I tend to cut them down as soon as I see them.
