| There is another interesting scene in this movie--about 25 minutes in, Herc sees Ismene partially encased in rock in a seaside cliff, kind of a geological variant of the Andromeda theme. She's wearing the white draped robe, the rock covers her body between bosom and thighs as well as her left arm and parts of her head and right arm, which is outstretched at shoulder height. She and Herc have quite a conversation before he kills the sea monster she is being sacrificed to and the rock that imprisons her dissolves. |
