| I offer this update to add an actress, action, details and tags. I found this film great fun. Should it come your way, do see it. Actress: Izabella Miko, Julia Schultz Description: A guy takes the job of delivering a fully-restored classic car from Arizona to Florida to a tight schedule, and with the specific instruction of taking no hitch-hikers. Soon, however, he has acquired *two* passengers, and a pile of vampire trouble. Izabella Miko puts in a terrific performance. 0': In the opening scene of the movie, Megan (Izabella Miko) is washing blood from her body in a shower. She is frightened, and having scary, fast-intercut flashbacks, including being thrown onto a bed, being restrained there, and receiving a multi-coloured wadding gag (which might be a scrunched page of a magazine - it is not held in place by any means). 22': A second guy (hitch-hiker) and the driver had been eating in a diner, where Megan was seen briefly. They found her outside, extremely fearful, and uncommunicative. The hitch-hiker approached her gently, but overcome, she fainted. He now carries her, unconscious, in his arms into a motel room, and puts her onto the bed. He sends the driver for ice, while he runs a cold bath for her; he knows what the problem is. He inspects her rag-doll body meticulously, and discovers the evidence a little below her navel. Leaving (only) her panties on, he carries her to the bath and places her in the water. 26': The vampire and crew have crashed a small party in the Arizona dunes. As the baddies have their fun, Megan is affected by telepathic connection. She wakes, and is soon screaming and desperate to escape. She is again having fast-intercut flashbacks to being on a bed, being gagged and, this time, being bitten in her lower belly. The hitch-hiker can barely keep her in the bath, and is then aided by the driver when he returns. The driver now takes the job of restraining the struggling and screaming Megan, and applies a handgag when the motel owner turns up. With him reassured and away, the hitch-hiker injects her with something to render her unconscious. Calm is restored - but in the course of her struggle, Megan has bitten the driver . 30': Splashing his face after his exertions, the hitch-hiker hears loud music from outside. The vampire crew has arrived, and one of the party-goers ('Blonde', Julia Schultz) is carried over the vampire's shoulder into the motel. It's a short scene; she is clothed (but does lose a shoe) and unconscious. 47': Following a nocturnal car chase in the desert by the vampire crew, Megan (now fully clothed and shod) makes a bid for freedom, but is soon caught by the driver. Again, she struggles and thrashes valiantly in her fear, but with the baddies returning, the hitch-hiker delivers a punch to knock her out so that she won't struggle further. The two guys carry her to the car, and shove her into it. 65': After a further couple of half-carry, half-walking-support scenes (56' and 61'), Megan is resting in a remote house, but her sleep is soon disturbed by further fast flashbacks, in which she is restrained by the vampire's accomplices, wad-gagged, and feels the vampire's teeth in her belly. She wakes with a scream, and then relates (and we see) that, after the attack and her subsequent release, one of the vampire's female crew should have shot and killed her, but she didn't do so.
