| Title: Recht op recht Medium: TV Series Actress: Veerle Dobbelaere, Goele Derick Description: Episode: "Haat" (Hate, 3.05) and "Lievde" (Love, 3.06) In this Dutch series which aired from 1998 to 2002, Dobbelaere is playing Chris Haagdoorn, a lawyer working at a law firm and specializing in criminal cases. At the beginning of episode "Haat", a right-wing group storms a courthouse to free one of their consorts, takes Chris and Judge Leopold (Derick, a recurring guest star) hostage and kidnaps them. For the rest of the episode, both damsels are seen handcuffed behind their back and blindfolded with black cloths. Scenes include the women taken out of a car somewhere in the countryside and taken into a house (13 minutes), locked into a closet for the night (15 minutes), fed by their guard (20 minutes), questioned by the bad guy (24 minutes) and searching for an envelope with incriminating photos (33 and 36 minutes). At the beginning of episode "Lievde", the female judge is shot in cold blood, whereas Chris manages to build some kind of relationship with her captor and is temporarily unblindfolded and uncuffed. At 25 minutes Haagdoorn is taken to a school building in the boot of a car, once more cuffed and blindfolded. At 33 minutes, she is free of her blindfold and has one hand cuffed to a radiator.
