Before she can escape, another henchman injects her in the neck with a sedative. After the commercial break, Liliana is brought to an apartment, still unconscious and carried over the shoulder. One of the henchmen tells the other, in Spanish, to "tie her to the bed and gag her." When next shown, we are treated to quite a sight: she is lying on the bed, hands loosely tied overhead to the headboard with white rope, feet tied together (ankles crossed), gagged with a wide strip of white gaffer tape, and blindfolded with a sky blue bandanna. After thinking to herself via voiceover, she desperately gag-talks to be let go. The tape is rather loosely applied, so her speech is only slightly muffled. In the next sequence, "el hombre" Rafael enters the room, rips off the tape from her mouth but leaves the blindfold on. He then smacks her across the face and rips open her white blouse to reveal a red/black lace bra. Following another cutaway, her loose-fitting yet skimpy black shorts have also been pulled down to reveal a pair of red/black lace panties, implying that she has been raped. He re-gags her with the tape, prompting much mmpphhing and muffled sobbing. After a while, Nuria (Elsy Reyes, wearing a sexy burgundy minidress) enters the room and does the decent thing by pulling Liliana's shorts back on, zipping them up at the back. She also ungags her, but again leaves her blindfolded. Liliana frantically asks her what is going on, only to get no response. Continues in episode 82, when Nuria unties the length of rope from the bed, although Liliana's hands remain tied. She then unties her feet, which Liliana uses to kick her in the stomach. When she yelps out, Liliana immediately identifies her and gets pissed. Cue a half-hearted struggle between the two babes, until the lead henchman arrives with a syringe in hand. The sequence ends with Liliana squirming like a trooper before being sedated, and obviously showing off her fabulous legs in the process. Later, she wakes up still on the bed, bound and gagged as before but no longer with her hands tied to the bed. She thinks to herself via voiceover again, but this time she realizes to reach up and remove the blindfold and gag (duh....) Finally conjuring up some resourcefulness, she throws a metal ornament at a mirror to smash the glass and use a shard to cut the ropes. The scene ends when she eventually overpowers her captor by stabbing him in the back with a shard of glass, then escapes. Overall, an excellent scene and much better than her previous one from Corazon valiente. In addition to her attractive outfit, she initially wears black heels but stays barefoot after being raped. |

Was that the only item available to use as a gag in the prop department, or the only type of gag the prop man could implement? I once posed a similar question about why all three of Lynda Carter's gags on Wonder Woman were black cloth cleave gags. |
