| The 4KZoom-athon continues with one of the (IMHO) best DiD scenes of this decade. Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson AND Jennifer Jason Leigh bound to chairs and OTM-gagged with stuffing??? Yes, please! Fans have long complained about the scene's poor lighting, but not anymore. Finally, you get to actually *see* what's going on! Another 2.35-to-1.78 cropping happening here, except for the parts where the three damsels appear on screen at the same time, as well as the part where the villainess is killed, as it's too gory for a zoom! As always, my cropping is extremely careful and not a single pixel of the damsels goes to waste. I also enhanced Thompson's mmmphs in the scene where the bear-monster screams "help me". As a bonus, I've included all the relevant footage from the Blu-ray's special features; again, I boosted the colors and sound a bit. Interestingly, there is a different take of the scene where Portman pulls off the OTM-gag and there is no packing underneath. My guess is, this take was filmed later and she didn't want to have the cloth stuffed back in. Who can blame her? | BTW, Awakening the Zodiac and Most Dangerous Man Alive will have to wait a bit, as I need to finish Little Evil and MI3, and the former is proving to be very time-consuming due to its codec. You won't believe what other scenes I have in store for you all... |
