Don't know about the quality, but from what I've read, the video is SUPPOSED to be vertical and it was actually shot that way since it's meant to be played in smartphones and tablets via the Spotify App. I think it's the first of its kind or something along those lines... |

| Excellent scene for 1935. Starts around the 15:37 mark ---------------------------------------- Title: The Spanish Cape Mystery (1935) Medium: Movie Actress: Helen Twelvetrees Description: An Ellery Queen mystery thriller with Donald Cook in the lead role. Ms. Twelvetrees plays Stella Godfrey, the beautiful daughter of a rich local family. Abducted in her evening dress, she is taken unconscious to an oceanside holiday cottage under cover of darkness. She is bound to a chair, arms to the rests, and gagged over the mouth detective style with a dark coloured, wide cloth. Her abductor then departs. She comes round and struggles prettily against her bonds before giving in with a big sigh. The next morning who should arrive at the cottage to begin his holiday but Ellery Queen, accompanied by his friend Judge Macklin. Stella is woken by the sound of they're arrival and begins to mmpphh and struggle against her bonds. Despite her best efforts and the open doorway, for several minutes while they argue over who should do the unpacking, the two visitors fail to notice that she is in the next room. Then, at last, the judge notices her and they both rush to her side. Ellery Queen does not immediately attack her gag and bonds, but passes facetious comment on her beauty and on her predicament while our DiD gives them at first imploring, and then glaring looks!. Eventually, the judge working on her wrists and Ellery on her ankles, they start to untie her, conspicuously leaving her to tear off her gag and give Ellery a piece of her mind. The scene is prolonged, well lit and with plenty of decent close-ups. An absolute classic. |

Mireya (Villarreal) is ordered by some guy to stand up and put her hands behind her back. Slightly confused, she obediently does so, allowing him to tie her hands with white rope torn from a curtain. To finish off, he tells her to open her mouth so that he can cleave gag her with a white bandanna. All of this is done onscreen in a rush, and he even knocks her cowboy hat off in the process (which ends up looking rather comical, despite the scene not being light-hearted). She is then locked in a bathroom to mmpphh and gag-talk in frustration, while walking around and struggling to free her hands. Indeed it would do her well to get free, for the house has been set on fire! Eventually she works the gag loose, followed by her hands. A friend arrives in time to rescue her. Villarreal, a wavy-haired brunette who is nicely plump and may appeal to those who like "bigger" damsels, wears a pink lumberjack-style T-shirt and jeans. But, look up "plump" in the database description search. |

| Apparently this is a web-series that ran for two 'seasons' of 6 episodes, each episode is approx 10 minutes long...one of the star is cute Aimee Teegarden. Has anyone seen the whole series? Any scenes for Aimee? There is a t&g damsel at the end of this episode, it's not Aimee but the fact there is at least this scene makes me think the bad guys might have gone after her later in the series. |
