It's quite possible that some other "unavailable" scenes are also present in edited form and/or with different title. Unfortunately, there's no reasonable way how to track that. |

| Here's a scene I remember seeing as a kid on TV, from an old movie made either during WWII or shortly thereafter. Some of the details may be off: I only saw it that one time and I was about 11. But to the best of my recollection here goes. As I said, it's WWII, and this comes near the end of the picture. Some American GIs are in hangar or shed and they're waiting for a plane or some planes to arrive, staring into the sky. Except for our hero, who's talking to a woman in the hangar. She's sitting on the floor hands tied behind her, and she's either a spy or a German or someone. I take it he had some sort of relationship with her but it's gone south now as she's tied up. (No gag—sorry.) One of the guys at the front of the hangar sees the planes and they all get excited; our hero comes forward, sees the planes, then goes back to her and unties her. All this time the two of them were having a perfectly calm, even romantic and dreamy, conversation. That's about it. I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me what this is, and even better if they can point me to a clip somewhere online. Thx. |
