Record number: 1433 Title: With Murder In Mind (1992) aka With Savage Intent Medium: TV Movie Actress: Elizabeth Montgomery, Mary Ann Hagan Description: In a dramatization of a true story, a drug dealer (IIRC) posing as a prospective property buyer ties up both women in the kitchen, cuffing their hands behind their backs, binding their ankles with white rope, and gagging both of them with stiff white napkins (Continuity problems give us a 2-for-1 cleave and overgag sequence). You don't see any tying on screen, but you do see Hagan's gag being tied tightly. Both women struggle quite a bit on the kitchen floor. This sequence occurs early on (it may begin in the first fifteen minutes). Warning: Montgomery's character is shot after being taken up to a bedroom. Although she survives, she's shown painfully making her way afterwards to a telephone while still bound to try to call for help. |

Record number: 9565 Title: CSI: Miami Medium: TV Series Actress: Erin Carufel Description: Episode: "Extreme" (2.10) As is usual for the show, they start with the victim and work their way backwards, so all you really see of the crime is flashes. Sexy, young blonde wearing miniskirt and boots is into being kidnapped for kicks. At about 20 minutes in, there is a brief flash of her bound and gagged with cloth stuffed in her mouth about to be locked into a box. At about 30 minutes, another brief shot of her trying to run away, but she is caught and hand-gagged. At about 40 minutes in, a short cut featuring a close-up of her with clear plastic over her mouth and nose as her boyfriend ramps up the game by smothering her to death. Final flash around 50 minute mark of the smothering scene again. At 11 minutes, she is captured, dragged into a van, hooded and presumably restrained. Van drives off while boyfriend looks stupid. The hooded scene is quick, about 10 frames, so it is pretty easy to miss. At about 13" you see a video of her reading a "kidnappee waiver". |
