| UK ALERT. UK ALERT. The great scene where Fbi agent Shantel VanSanten gets well cleave gagged in a car as a stand in to be exchanged for a terrorist. Very nice scene. Currently showing on Sky Witness as I write but repeated this Saturday on the same channel. |

Record number: 27282 Title: FBI (2018) Medium: TV Series Actress: Shantel VanSanten Description: Episode: "Double Bind" (5.06) This episode follows the case of a woman, Liza Peters (Annika Boras), and her kidnapped son. While it seems pretty straight forward, early into the episode, we learn that Liza is a former CIA spy with tie's to a Chechen terrorist organization. The terrorist's want Liza to bring them a political activist by the name of Malina Karamova in exchange for her son. About 2/3rds of the way through the episode, she goes ahead and kidnaps Malina, knocking her out and stashing her in the back of her car (all off screen). Eventually the FBI intercepts her before she can make the exchange and they devise a plan for Special Agent Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) to stand in for Malina as her double during the exchange. The next time we see everyone, Nina is bound and tightly cleave gagged in the passenger seat of Liza's car to really sell the part. The other FBI agents watch from a distance as a car pulls up for the expected exchange only to find that it's not the terrorist they were expecting but a different man from the same organization. He has Nina (who he thinks is Malina) get out of the car and he inspects her, searching her for weapons and looking her up and down. Shortly after this, he has Nina and Liza get back in the car and orders Liza to drive off at gun point. Following this we see the trio pull up to an aqueduct with the FBI following closely behind out of sight. The terrorist orders Liza out and then pulls Nina out of the car and removes her gag. He then asks for her to speak so that he can confirm who she is and Nina rebuttals the terrorist's demands by spitting at him. He then is about to hit Nina just as Liza jumps in and wrestles the gun away from him. Nina manages to get free from her bonds and then helps Liza subdue the man before they both go off to look for Liza's son.
