After a few minutes of lashing her with thin tree branches by a group of psycho kids, one of them picks up a maple leaf & stuff-gags her with it (i.e. stuffs it into her mouth). A few minutes later, Erica's sister comes to the rescue, cutting the rope. After she slumps to the ground, she pulls the leaf out of her mouth. |

Her soul was to exit thru her mouth, and she told her mother to tie a cloth over her mouth, and catch whatever came out. Her mother obeyed her request, so Deborah is cloth gagged for a few scenes, then you can see something moving in the gag. Her mother takes the gag off, and catches a moth that flies out of her mouth. Interesting scene. You don't see very many voluntary gag scenes, OR scenes where the damsel is gagged, but not bound. |
