Hey X,
Tootoo walked into some fistgags tonight and
Blues & Ducks are pretending they're Laffs & Sabres

I'll pass them on in exchange for that Big White clip, till we get a decent new scene

David's Discussion Post- Editing
"Hey X, I know I'd like to say thank you for sharing that clip with us. Anyone who has ever done any editing knows how much work and time is involved, most especially in long and complicated scenes like this one, and I for one, appreciate it. You might want to hoist one with the Major and compare editing horror stories. I'm betting he tore his hair out editing "Cruel Summer" some time back."

ask the Major about Rose McGowan - Doom Generation ;)

Haha, not mad at all now that my Tylenol 3's (blasted wisdom teeth, keeping me from my x-mas dinner) have worn off. In fact, in light of my recent blow-up, I spent some time tweaking the clip in iMovie. So now it's a DivX AVI. Try this one instead, but be warned I've had sound complications. It works like a CHARM in MPlayer, though. You should all get MPlayer! It's way better than anything else I've tried yet. For the record, my QT won't run the sound in this clip, so be warned.

The quality on this one is miles better, too. I guess I just hate being outdone. If it STILL doesn't work, send me an e-mail or get Jos clip.

Thanks a lot, bud. I'd definitely hoist one with you as well, though after all the holiday hoopla, it'll be Jack Daniel's instead of MGD. I remember back in High School I was in a low-key film class and made a small movie for a project -- That was the worst. I had to edit the entire thing twice because the first crack at it crashed and burned from software problems. B-R-U-T-A-L.

Hey X, I know I'd like to say thank you for sharing that clip with us. Anyone who has ever done any editing knows how much work and time is involved, most especially in long and complicated scenes like this one, and I for one, appreciate it. You might want to hoist one with the Major and compare editing horror stories. I'm betting he tore his hair out editing "Cruel Summer" some time back. And I have a few of my own. I once spent about 6 hours trying to time the edits in a climatic fight scene in the old days before computer editing when you had to try and time the starts and stops of vcr's. This stuff is a bitch kitty to all you out there who have not experienced it.

Also I have high speed, but it downloaded just great for me and unlike you or Jos, I thought the quality was very nice too.
I'm pretty sure I was the first one to post an alert here for this film when I stumbled across the preview, so it's nice to see the finished product. I would have bet we'd never see Holly Hunter bound and gagged, let alone bound and gagged several times and ways and even gagging herself.
So thanks again man. You made my night!

Good editing software?
I have some DVDs I would like to cut and release as did clips, could someone recommend an easy to use, fast editing software? The stuff is already on my PC, mostly in DivX.

Thanks!

I hate editing footage on PC's, but I'd argue your best bet is Adobe Premier Pro, which is as far as I know, not only one of the easiest, but also best and most accessible. Don't buy it -- It'll cost you your liver -- instead, be a good pirate and snatch the plunder off of Limewire or EMule. Should work like a charm. For the most part, it's place the playhead where you want, and snip the footage as you please. Very simple, very basic, very easy.

Wanted
Did anyone manage to get some caps or a clip of the Lauren Velez scene this week? Looks like it could be a while before the show repeats and it would be a shame to miss it.

Get back to me re: editing software - I'll forward no charge.
Your clip is fine for the wankers, but I demand the best.
You've missed the point entirely.

Give X some time Major
The Blues and Ducks shared some Christmas Spirit with each other, and I sent X all the clips of it

Thank you for responding to that. I was between a rock and a hard place, knowing the moderator would rule my original post off-topic and not wanting to tick you off any further.

I have to wait until later to load the clip, but I'll give it a shot.

Eh? I hate to sound overtly Canuck with that, but I really didn't even know what the Major's talking about. Did he not get the clip? He didn't like it? Shit, it's not THAT bad. Christ, you'd think I'd gone out and produced the "From Justin To Kelly" of DiD clips! (I'm joking about this, of course)

At any rate, these clips are all hilarious -- ALMOST as hilarious as Bertuzzi being chosen for the Olympic Team. What an assbag!

Oh yeah, between him and Elisha Cuthburt's boyfriend...
Also been watching the news trying to catch Jeremy Roenick's cracks about now cheering for Canuck team too. Want to clip that for Kevin W. ;)

Anyway, the Major gave me some clips I'd forgot about till I went to A&W and found them in my jacket whilst looking for my wallet. There a German one, and some neat serial scenes.
I'll probably make you some preview clips in exchange for the Big White one.
