| One of the advantages for us that telenovelas have over american soaps is that there's always the possibility that they'll come out on DVD. Two that have recently arrived are LA MADRASTA & ENTRE EL AMOR Y ODIO, and they're for a very reasonable $24.95 (list price). The former has two cracker jack scenes including one with the Russian beauty Ana Layevsky. The latter has the best scene I've ever seen in a telenovela, a wrap tape gag scene for Luz Elena Gonzalez. Actually Amor Y Odio is being re-run now on telefuturo at 4 pm every afternoon during the week. So if you watch regularly or can guess when the scene will occur you can catch it for free, or you can get the DVD. They also come with english subtitles. They're distributed by xenon pictures but can also be gotten from Amazon. |
