| Description: When two cousins inherit an outlaw's ranch the bad guys murder the male heir and try to scare off Julie with ghostly noises so they can search for stolen gold bars at their leisure. Julie, a cute blonde, refuses to be frightened off, and, at the 48 minute mark she decides to investigate the sounds which eminate from her basement. The bad guys grab her, tie her up and gag her (off screen) so they can search the ranch house unhindered. At around the 50 minute mark, we get several short (four seconds of so) close-up shots of Julie struggling to free herself. When The Rangebusters try to sneak into her house through the basement they hear Julie kicking the chest of drawers which hide the entrance to the cubbyhole where she's been hidden. Dusty & Co. move the furniture and rescue the shapely blonde. She's untied and ungagged on screen. The entire sequence takes about a minute. Julie is detective gagged with a triangular polka dot dark cloth. Her wrists are bound behind her back and her feet are untied. She's wearing a tight-fitting checked dress. |
