| ...but I don't remember this last scene being in the movie; does anyone else? Record number: 3524 Title: Adventures of Hajji Baba, The Medium: Movie Actress: Rosemarie Bowie Description: This is another Arabian Night classic with John Derek and lots barefoot harem girls. An spoiled princess runs away from her father the Caliph with the help of Banah of the harem girls. The Caliph finds out and ordered that Banah be tortured to make her talk. Banah is tied up horizontally on a bed with her ankles tied together. A torturer whips the soles of her feet until she decides to tell where the princess has gone. Further, Amanda Blake played Banah according to both the original database entry (record number 420) and the IMDb. The character played by Rosemarie Bowe (not "Bowie") was named Ayesha. Don't know whether this one is legit, in which case the standard newbie advisory-don't put in another entry for a movie already in the database; either modify the existing one or post your proposed change here so someone with edit access can-will suffice, or if it's something else, which it may well be, given that I think a male character in the film was tortured like this. |
