[11295] Crossroads (1964)
(I am correcting my original post on this subject. I had switched damsel roles and there was a mistake as to the date due to a wrongly labeled production photograph. There was also some scene creep.)

Actress: Zeph Gladstone, Susan Hanson

Description: From 1974, Miss Diane (Hanson) has a habit of choosing the wrong men. In this case her new boyfriend Clifford has doublecrossed a local crime lord. Cliff is being forced to drive contraband to Germany and to ensure that he does as his told, the villain breaks into Diane's flat and holds her prisoner.

For two episodes she is kept hostage and forced to answer the phone (may be occasional handgag... it's been a while.)

She is visited by Vera Downend (Gladstone) and despite warnings to send the pretty brunette away Diane tries to give Vera a note that something is wrong. Vera is captured, held with Diane and handgagged whenever Diane has to answer the phone. Unknown to the crooks Cliff has been caught and does a deal with police. When he finally calls to say he's delivered the goods, a meeting is arranged.

Crossroads had a 30 second tag sequence at the end of the end credits. In this we see Diane's door being kicked down by police. Inside Vera and Diane have been left bound and cleave gagged. It's brief, though the setup is good.
