Hey wait a minute, that's gone and deleted my dB entry for that scene, even though it was a dupe. "Killing him with her gagged feet".....come on. Mine was better, more descriptive of what she does, and correctly had "Mein Gaddar" in the title instead of the description. |

There are a bunch of other entries for CID, and they all had different versions of the title. I did a search on the actress to ID four of them, but there might be others. If you want to add your imaginative line back into the original entry, be my guest. As for the "Mein Gaddar", none of the other entries had it in the title, and it didn't seem reasonable for the original title of an Indian series (are you watching it off of a German satellite feed?) It also wasn't listed that way on IMDB. |

It also wasn't listed that way on IMDB. I no longer have my version saved. Guess I'll start doing that. Why not just overwrite the original with the one I wrote? It's written better. "C.I.D Mein Gaddar" (only two dots) is the correct title of the show, and has nothing to do with the German language. Nor is "Crime Investigation Department" part of the official title. That explains why I couldn't find it when searching for dupes at the time; I had no chance of seeing the original. |

Short titles are a bitch to search for in the DB. Worst case so far is still "V", but CID is close. I've never heard of the show before I saw the correction posted for this morning, so I have no idea how the exact title is supposed to read. IMDB has the actress listed in the show C.I.D. (three dots), and two of the DB entries had the "Crime Investigation Department" as part of the title, so that's what I propagated to the entries that I found. I still don't know where the "Mein Gaddar" came from, but I assume you had a good reason for including it. Not sure what to tell you about keeping copies of your entries, but I always write mine up in word files first, and then copy them out to the DB. It more for proofreading than backups, but they do come in handy on occasion. Maybe Brian can recover your original entry, and you can edit your version into the current entry; if not, sorry. |

Rather like NCIS:LA, CSI:Miami, etc. And I was slightly wrong: "Crime Investigation Department" does form part of the title screen, yet the IMDb-added dots do not (guess they added them for their own consistency). The full string for that entry should therefore read: "CID: Mein Gaddar aka Crime Investigation Department aka C.I.D" > Not sure what to tell you about keeping copies of your > entries, but I always write mine up in word files first, > and then copy them out to the DB. No bother. It happens. |

If you need the original, let me know. It's in the change log. |
