Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Not so far mentioned are three unknown damsels in white dresses, briefly seen tied together in line astern and being dragged along by goons. The first two have their hands roped in front, the last at her sides. All are tightly gagged with white cloth over the mouth, and struggling. Long shot, unfortunately.

Ms Farina, playing "Strawberry Fields" (actually a children's home in Liverpool!), is tied on top of the bus, not hands over head, but with long separate ropes to the rail behind her, leaving her free to gesticulate.

In the stage scene, she is tied to an illuminated dollar sign, symbolising the forces of materialism. Ironic, considering the whole movie was a cynical attempt to make a fast buck out of mostly poor covers of the Beatles' great songs!

Sandy is, however, extraordinarily mmmmphogenic.

Any idea on ID for them?

I don't remember that. Where did they come from within
the movie?

I just saw them in the clip Kerhop has posted. Must say I didn't know they were there until today, either. As I haven't seen the whole film, I'm afraid I don't know at what point they appear, but it's during Strawb's captivity.

Perhaps they are not in all prints; the scene is only a few seconds long.

I saw the film at the theatre ... nothing of that sort. I imagine you're referrring to the opening of the scene at FVB's lair ... when Farina, Steinberg and the guy are pulled inside.

My bad; the one at the back is a guy, so it's Strawb, Lucy and Dougie. Lighting washes out the colours, making all their clothes look pale. Sorry.

Mr Mustard is leading.
