| Does Brian have scripts or bots that could run through typos, or change an outdated tag? I'm seeing a shitload of typos for "commerical" (having almost submitted an entry with it myself), and the old "bonddesc_chestropes" tag. You know me, I like to keep things neat & tidy in there. |

I'll think about it, but it wouldn't be a simple thing especially as we wouldn't want it to blow stuff up. Most of the current back-end is very old code written in C, and I don't know how much would be easily transformed. I'd probably have to start over. |

| No problem. I was just naively envisioning the whole dB as a giant text file which could be editable via a macro or something (I mainly use those in Word files to bulk-change date formats). |

It is, and we've done some global search and replace, but it's a non-trivial process because I have to shut down access while that's going on. I guess if we came up with a solid set of replacement operations, I could take a look some night. |
