| Description: Better than usual sword and sandal opus (good action scenes and muscleman Ed Fury can actually act a little bit) includes a scene at the 48 minute mark (no commercials) where the Ms. Gilli has her wrists and ankles tied to two chariots and is about to be stretched. The lower part of her face is swaddled in cloth, part of a head wrap used to disguise her. At the 1 hour mark, we see Gilli sitting chained by one ankle in a cell. (We only know she's chained when the chain is removed and we see her shackle in closeup at the 1 hour 4 minute mark.) During the intervening four minutes, Gilli is first menaced by the evil queen, then whipped by her, then she attempts to burn Gilli's face with a brand but is restrained by the king, who has eyes for Gilli. |
