[2399] Adventures of Superman (1952)
Incidentally, there is a brief bondage scene in the episode that is usually cut out of broadcast versions to make way for more commercials. The scene takes place in the criminals' hideout as they are preparing to set out for the bridge. Miss Lansing stands, face to camera, while one of the henchmen ties her hands behind her back by means of a length of white cordage (possibly cotton cord). Upon completion, the gang chieftain - who plans his capers right down to the last detail - inspects the bondage and proclaims it to be "a good job". You have to admit, that is unusual. How often is the bondage critiqued onscreen?
As they lead Miss Lansing away, we see that her hands have indeed been bound behind her back (no supposedly here). By the way, the knot appears to be a variation on the venerable Handcuff Knot.

I think you're the victim of a bit of scene creep here. I checked the full episode on DVD to be certain, and the earlier scene with Joi having her hands tied is in the episode, but the boss' remark about a "good job" comes later, when he's giving instructions to his henchmen about wiring the bridge to explode; it doesn't refer to the bondage. The rope isn't white clothesline, its some kind of brown rope - I'm not sure what kind. I've updated the entry with the additional information.
