Sunday February 28 09:43:37 2010 Cop Out (2010) |
In this humorous continuation of the buddy cop movie, Bruce Willis and Tracey Morgan play officers who have been recently suspended for a month. Willis' character must find a way to pay for his daughter's marriage, all while many dark execution murder scenes are cut to of a hardcore mexican gang banger. Their paths cross when the two cops are made to retrieve a stolen car with some luggage in the trunk. Lovely Senorita Reguera is that luggage. Hands bound in front with a green cleave gag, she is heaved out of the car. Gagged or not, the cops can't make out anything she is saying, all spanish (Willis' jokingly says "it's french" at one point). After rescuing the beautiful Senorita once, she is again captured. This time she is tied to a chair in the brutal Al Capone wannabe's batting cage. There is a short dialogue between captor and captive before an onscreen wrap around gag is applied (brilliant gag-talking as well). As the gang leader prepares to bat, and our lil senorita mmmmphs like it's no ones business, a phone rings. A final fight sequence occurs throughout the gang house. The damsel is in one more scene where she has a shotgun mounted to her neck (via duct tape). Hope im not going to ruin this quite nice flick for you all by saying she does not receive a bad end. 7/10 as a film overall 8/10 as a b&g performance |
