[17567] The Tomorrow People (2013)
Media: Television
Series Title: The Tomorrow People (2013)
Actress: Vicky Huang

Description: Episode: “Rumble”, Season 1, Episode 11, original airdate January 22, 2014

Synopsis:

The eponymous Tomorrow People are known also as paranormals because they possess the paranormal powers of telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation. The paranormals are hunted by a secret organization called Ultra.

Even though it hunts paranormals, Ultra is not above using paranormals to hunt other paranormals – provided that they can be trained to serve Ultra’s purposes.

At about the six-minute mark, we see a pretty young Asian girl (guest star Vicky Huang, who is listed in the credits only as “Ultra Trainee”) sitting in an examination chair in Ultra headquarters. She is secured to the chair by means of leather cuffs at her wrists and ankles (the cuffs are special “power suppression” restraints that hold her paranormal powers in check).

The Asian girl has washed out of Ultra’s training program, and suffers the standard penalty. She is injected with a serum that strips her of her paranormal powers, turning her into a human.

Three other Ultra trainees, including Stephen Jameson (series regular Robbie Amell) watch as the Asian girl convulses spasmodically in her restraints (the standard reaction to the power-stripping serum). It is a warning to the three of them not to wash out of the training program, or they will suffer the same fate.

I apologize if I did something incorrectly, but the instructions were confusing.

The only correction that I wanted to make to entry 17567 is the episode title. "Rumble" is correct.

Its not that you did something incorrectly, its just that if you quote the entire entry, it makes it difficult to determine what you want to change. What you entered here was exactly what I need - a short, succinct description of the modification - and this one now done.

Thanks.
