Description: Paula plays Larissa (Lara) Grawe, a young student who had an affair with a married businessman while studying in London and is now attempting blackmail.

Just after 53:20, we see Lara walking down a deserted country lane. A 4x4 overtakes her, and the driver asks if his indicators work. Lara replies that they don't, giving the guy an excuse to exit his car, sneak around behind, and inject Lara in the neck. He then lifts the unconscious girl into his vehicle and drives off.

We next see Lara at 57:00. She's lying on a mattress in an abandoned building, gagged with a wide strip of silver duct tape, her hands bound behind, and her ankles together. Her captor shines a light into her eyes, giving a good view of the gag but also showing she's still unconscious. He takes Lara's phone and uses her thumb to unlock it, showing a good closeup of the plastic cuffs that secure her hands. They're tight, with friction marks on her hands.

Around 59:30, Lara is awake and tied to a chair, her hands still cuffed behind with plastic cuffs and her ankles cuffed apart to the legs of the chair. The guy slaps her repeatedly, demanding to know whether there are copies of the blackmail video. Lara pretends she doesn't know anything about a video.

The guy leaves Lara for a while, and when he returns (1:05:53), he rips off the tape gag (unfortunately, we only see it as it's removed). He gives her water, and she admits there's a video. As the guy leaves her, he's beaten unconscious by Lara's mother. She attempts to release Lara, but she can't cut the cuffs (we get another decent closeup, showing Lara's very bruised wrists). She fetches a knife from the attacker's car and finally frees her daughter.

Paula plays the distressed damsel well, sobbing almost constantly while awake, and the cuffs look convincing. She wears the thick winter clothes she was first captured, including a thick scarf.
