Discussion Page

This page is for you to give general feedback on the page, conduct discussions on topics of interest, or just use it like a guestbook and sign in if you prefer. Anything you post here will be available for everyone to see, so if you want to confer with me privately, use the email link on the main page. I hope to hear from fellow collectors and other interested people.

Policy: On the forums, you can pretty much say what you want. Don't be abusive to others, people can disagree without resorting to that sort of thing. From time to time, I'll probably delete some of the older messages when the list gets too long.

Note (3/31/97): Deleted some of the older discussion threads that seemed to have died down. I don't see much need to archive them, if others feel strongly the other way, let me know.

Note (4/29/97): Removed older posts again. I decided to keep the top xx lists, but moved them to their own page.

Note (5/10/97): Did some more cleanup. There was a parallel discussion going on here and alerts, so I brought them together.

Note (5/24/97): Deleted some old posts again.

Note (6/1/97): Another cleanup.

Note (6/13/97): Clean up time again.

Note (6/28/97): Cleaned up the old posts again. Added some links to other pages on the index page.

Posting info:

Might be time for a few brief pointers about using the posting
form.

The form writes what you put in the boxes directly to the HTML
that makes up the page. The info is not emailed to me first or
anything, so what you put in the form is exactly what will show
up.

Depending on your browser, you may need to hit reload to see your
post.

If you ever see the "Under Construction" heading, please don't
post, because your post will likely be overwritten when I save
the HTML file.

I sized the entry box to fit in the default size for Netscape.
With some browsers, you get auto word wrap in the text box,
others put a horizontal scroll bar. Either way, it is usually
best to put carriage returns where they are absolutely needed.
Normally, the paragraphs will adjust according to the width of
the browser window.

The name and email slots are optional, so if you want to be
anonymous, that's absolutely your right.

Sometimes, when I clean up the page, I will fix problems within
someone's post, such as spelling errors or really odd formatting.
I will never alter the content of a post, if I don't think it
belongs, I might delete it, but that would be the extent of it.

There is a limit to the number of characters you can post using
the form, so break up really long posts into a couple of smaller
ones.

Hope this helps.

Brian R

The first siting of the detailed posting info that pretty much shows up on the current posting pages. Except for the bit about Under Construction. In those days, the only way to delete posts was to edit the big HTML file.

Re: "The Marshall"

If you go to
http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Hills/1404/index.html, (Kari
Wuhrer Worship Page) you can find a vidcap of Kari Wuhrer roped
and taped from "The Marshall." You want to look in Gallery 4.

Grumpy

I have a site up right now that has a few vidcaps. I have tons of
tapes so I will change the vidcaps regularly. At the moment, we
have Jenny McCarthy, Jane Seymour Kristian Alfonso and a few
others. They were made off of old tapes so the quality is
so-so..but it's a fun page. The address is
http://www.profundis.com/tvmovie

Oddly enough, I am a big fan of the hand-over-the-mouth
or "hand-gag" as it is sometimes called. I like it
best when the woman's arms are restrained by the
kidnapper in someway (either physically or by rope).
It seems to me that the victim has the best expressions
of helplessness that way. The struggling and mouth noise
is usually good too. Of course, they can do those
scenes poorly too when the actor doesn't have a firm
grip.

For example, I really enjoyed the scene of Daryl Hannah
in "Memoirs of an Invisible Man". In the "Last Dragon"
the evil record producer would often put his hand over
Vanity's already tie-gagged mouth. I enjoyed that as well.

Overall...much more rare. But it seems less important
for some reason (even though if well done, I can enjoy
it more than some crappy loose gag).

Am I alone on this one? Or do any of you guys concur?
From postings (even my own) I would say it was low
priority....

eek!

Note:

I'm thinking of adding a separate forum for the Holy Grail/Ones
That Got Away discussion. As such, I've saved all the recent
postings of that nature. My only concern is that such a page may
languish; after I created the new Top Lists page, the postings on
the subject died down pretty quickly. Let me know what you think.

Brian R

Still a big problem. Every time I create a new page for something, people seem to lose interest.

RE: Hand Over Mouth

You are definitely not alone here! Love these scenes, the Daryl
Hannah scene is great.

Also, the hand-gag is something you can get away with in
public--I figured out in high school that although there were so
many women I knew that I would love to see gagged, I probably
never would, but I could quite possibly hand-gag quite a few of
them, the closest possible thing to a real gag, so I did!

Brian L

RE: Hand Over Mouth

Hey BrianL, I think we should add to the Favorite
Scenes portion "next door" and maybe rate the scenes
since they can vary in quality more than convential
gags.

In high school, I rarely did the hand-gag myself, but
a lot of girls used to screw around and do it with eachother.
Always a great thing to see!

Some fly-by-night guy. I don't this page ever amounted to anything. Also note the first appearance of the time/date stamp. I had to use a javascript hack to do it, and it didn't work for anyone without a javascript enabled browswer. Like WebTV guys. And me, since I had it turned off. Ironies abound.

Does anyone still have the list of Jackie Chan movies containing
bondage that someone posted? A friend of mine has some videos and
I wonder if they are the interesting ones.

Another question - I stumbled onto a "Baywatch Nights" episode
where the female lead is tied or chained in a boat that's about
to blow up. I was wondering if she ever has gotten into a real
bind on this show (or anywhere else). By "real bind," I of course
mean bound and gagged.

Grumpy

Tue Jun 17 23:03:44 PDT 1997

eek!-

There are so many hand over mouth scenes, it would take a while
to compose a list. I really like the Emma Peel hand gag in "The
13th Hole," mainly because Diana Rigg is just so sexy, especially
in the B & W episodes where she wore leather...as she does in
this scene.

I think as for rating hand gag scenes the primary factors must be
(1) amount of mmmppphing! and (2)the "wildness" of the actress'
eyes. Ms. Rigg gives us a nice long mmmpph in this scene,
unfortunately most of it takes place off-camera.

Hmmm I think I may compose a list...

I am looking for old superman gag scenes. I know there were
plenty, but I have not scene a vidcap yet. Also I am in favor of
the tape or cleave gag scenes. Especially with mmphing. Hand gag
is good. Like Brian I used to get away with it in school.

Brian L -

I included a bunch of hand-gag scenes under "The
Favorite Scenes" header. Let me know if you have
seen these and perhaps adds some more.

The Buck Rogers one might be the best IMHO.

I have a request. Do any of you who watch cartoons remember any
*specific* scenes in Carmen Sandiago (the cartoon, not the game
show), or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where a female character
was tied up? I can't find these cartoons around any more, and I'd
appreciate if you could help out.

BTW, I also run (and created) the cartoon bondage list. You can
e-mail me for it if you want it and I will send it to you. I will
also add the info you give me to the list and credit you, if you
like.

Please help me out here...

Thank you :)

PS, if you have a thing for male kid cartoon characters, "Bruno
the Kid" has a lot of bondage from what I've seen of it (and the
cartoon was created by movie actor Bruce Willis! Wonder how
involved he is besides having written the theme song and doing
the main character's voice...)

Jazz411

I just ran across a Spanish language movie, Operacion Carambola,
that had three chicks chained to a wall, with spikes slowly
coming toward them. I couldn't understand a word of it, but who
cares?

I was on a irc hannel the other day and they said "this" isn't
bdsm. I have to disagree. This is were my interest began, and I
think it was for alot of thers out there. For me, I was 6 and it
was the image of Ginger and Maryanne bound and gagged that
started me off in the "scene".

Hey!
If there's a problem with the net, I apologize,
but if not.. This site is interactive. And as I
write this, its about 30 minutes till Wednesday,
and the last time anybody wrote, including me, was
about 6 AM Sundy morning. And that was Phil
announicing the posting of his new site. I wrote
him directly telling him how good it looked,
hopefully a bunch of you did too. But the page
just sits there. Anybody bothered to check it
out? I'd imagine these things are a lot of work,
and unless we encourage Phil, Van, Brian and the
rest, why the hell should they do it for us??!
Thanks guys. Private wishes: Phil will get up more
pictures, and Van who has a ton of pics will get a
way to thumbnail them, so we can click and see em
good. Anyhow guys, if you don't use this forum
often, people will start taking lots of time
between the times they check it. When there is
nothing new for days, they will stop dropping by.
Even if you just want to say, how can that friggin
Days of Our Never Tied have 3 women captive at the
same time and never even tie anyone, let alone
gag, or do as I do, say, I've missed 3 episodes of
ET in 5 years. Why did it have to be the one with
Alicia in bondage??!! ARRGHHH!@#%$#
Lets keep talking. "I knew that" or "No shit,
Sherlock" is much better than dead air, and
everybody wanders off. Of course, thats just my
opinion and I could be wrong...

Hi,
Since this is my first time posting here let me just say nice job
to Brian for a hell of a page.
Second, a hello to Jazz that I promised I'd give him some help
with his cartoon bondage list, then my HD crashed. Sorry for the
delay, but I'll post them here later. BTW, I think I can help you
on the TMNT problem.
And a thanks to Van, Grumpy, Jay, and Phil for refilling my HD
now that it's fixed with great pic's at a.b.p.e.b and thier
respective homepages.
My question that I raise today (Since it seems everyone is
discussing hand gag scenes over in the fave scece page) is other
then mainstream TV and Movies, do you go out lookin for bondage
in other forms of media, and what are they?
See ya around.

Lard

Does Phil's page do anything? Have any pictures?? All I saw was
a message that you have to have BROWSER XX so I left. Is this a
pay site?? Do any of you actually pay for any of this stuff??
If his page has something, AOL's browser can't see it and I can't
get Netscape 4.01 to be recognized by my laptop but it works
great
on my desk top. Weird.

Everyone wants to make a buck. Harmony is supposedly turning
their
page into a commercial site. They are trying as fast as they can
to
get it up and earning money. On the one hand, why not since
everyone
out there stealing scans of their magazines and posting them to
the
ABEPB newsgroup as "my girlfriend", they deserve a few bucks. On
the other
hand, why.....they already make money off the tapes and magazines
they sell
by having a homepage. How do you all feel about pay pages?

Vidcaps are not really copyright infringement if presented as
part
of a review or commentary not for financial gain or profit motive
but...
scanning magazines instead of posting your own work "for profit"
on a
pay homepage is!!! I am surprised that the holders of the
copyrights
haven't filed suit yet against these ripoff artists. Sorry for
that
tirade but it bugs me alot.

First off, hello to Lard. It's been a while.
Thanks for helping out on my cartoon list! In between playing my
new Sega Genesis and N64 (I guess I'm just a big kid, peoples!)
and some new games on the IBM, as well as vacationing (I am on
vacation now, even), I haven't had much time to watch cartoons.
Taking advantage of my vacation, I've been staying up past
midnight into the wee hours of the morning, and waking up past
noon, and have missed out on some potentially nice stuff
(Beetlejuice I heard has some bondage of Lydia, Brian himself
told me that a LONG time ago!, and I also discovered Bruno the
Kid, but only Bruno and that black guy ever get tied up, although
they get tied up a lot).
Still, I'm keeping my out when the TV is on, and looking for new
stuff to add.
BTW, if anyone else here can help me I'd appreciate it! I'm
afraid I can't send you my list just yet, though, for I am using
a different computer here in my vacation house.
Anyways, I just thought it was nice to see an old acquaintance,
especially after the newsgroups have been spammed to death!
(Really, go to any *.sex newsgroup...it's pretty sad) And with
that guy saying he wants to make a law about commercial e-mailing
("spamming", the papers call it, they don't know what real spam
is), he should concentrate on aiming where the fire is first!
Well, it's past midnight, and I also got on to visit another
website that updates almost daily, so I'll just end this message
here.
-Jazz
PS, I wonder if Hey Arnold! will give us a tied up Helga? ...
PPS, if this appears several times, it's because I had a hard
time posting this message and didn't know if it got through or
not. Sorry.

Jazz411

So...anyone care to describe the FLIPPER scene where Jessica Alba
(and one other actress?) get b & g? I have to admit I missed this
one but it gets mentioned a lot...length, sequence, type of
bondage etc?

Anthony

Thu Jun 26 06:56:12 1997

Re: Flipper
It's a good scene. Jessica and a girl with black hair get tied to
a post, by some guy out for revenge. There's good struggling so
much so that if you look closely the girl with the black hair
gets her bare feet loose. But the feet get retied. The two girls
are gagged with white cleave gags, tied with rope. The scene
switches back and forth with other scenes, probrably lasts about
three minutes. If you or anyone else wants this scene I'm happy
to trade it.

Terry: RE:Harmony.

Aw man! Close-up concepts already made their's
a pay site. Well, basically I think Harmony is shooting
themselves in the foot. Before, they used
to mail their ads out and the site was done to
cut down the cost of mailings (according to them). But the
mailings were free! That's how
they go their business. I will certainly not
be able to purchase their goods now since I refuse
to pay for any web site! Talk about penny wise
and pound foolish!

eek!

Thu Jun 26 11:50:12 Central Daylight Time 1997

Re: Harmony's website

Last time I checked (6-25-97), Harmony's web site was still free.
You do need a password to get in, which you can get from their
mailings or via email. Those mailings may be free to their
customers but they are far from free for Harmony to send out.
They announced some months ago they were setting up a pay site
with their entire stock of Jennifer West and Heidi Kester photos.
They were going to charge $20.00 for a month's access - more than
enough time to download the entire website. Is it worth $20.00 to
have every picture ever taken of Jennifer West? What about Darla
Crane?
If you buy a Harmony magazine (any magazine actually), 90% of
what you pay goes to printing and distribution. The web changes
all that. Not only does it reduce printing/distribution costs
drastically, it allows anyone to become a publisher. What amazes
me is that people who pay $25.00 for a years subscription to a
magazine (and don't think twice about it) balk at paying say
$5.00 to have the same magazine delivered via email or off of a
website.

That's my rant for today - actually I have another one but it can
wait. :)

Grumpy

Thu Jun 26 13:51:18 PDT 1997

Re: Flipper

was Jessica Alba or this other black haired girl chloroformed in
this particular episode? was the episode from this season or the
previous season? and what was the title of the episode?

bdecker

Actually, Harmony is now charging for new passwords. Like a lot
of men, I have a wife at home who would not be thrilled if she
knew about my on-line activities and so I'm reluctant to send
them my name, address, etc in case they start sending me
newsletters of women in bondage. Would anyone be willing to trade
a password for all of my bondage jpg's and gif's? Also, I
couldn't find anything on Phil's page either besides a bunch of
squares. I'm sure it would be a good page if I could just see it

Mike

I did not know Harmony already was charging for passwords.
I have had mine for ages but if they want to charge me, I am
gone. For anyone who doesn't know it's:
http://www.harmonyconcepts.com.
When you log on, they will tell you what they want and then they
send you a password. Would I ever give out my password...it's not
worth
the risk. It's called "contributing to the delinquency of a
minor" and
people to get prosecuted for it.

If Harmony wants to start a pay site for their new magazines,
that's
fine. What I resent is people with pay sites who post Harmony's
pictures or HOM's or Kane's or TAO's. That's flat illegal. I
agree with Grumpy that Harmony could be shooting themselves in
the
foot as many won't pay and if they stop their flyers many won't
know what's available. The other danger is someone subscribing
and then posting the pic to a newsgroup for free. Harmony's
making
a big mistake.

Question: Has Mr.T ever posted a picture that he has taken?? How
do you
feel about that?

Terry

Hi guys -

I've been out of town for a bit, have to get caught up.

1. As a policy, I don't ever pay for www access. The reason is, I
don't want to encourage the proliferation of pay sites. One of
the great things about the web is the "surfing", just going
around checking stuff out. If pay sites become the norm, it ruin
that.

2. Flipper: no, there was no chloroform in that scene, and it was
from last year, not this. Flipper was one of the great ones in
its first season, but it sucked this year. They had a major cast
overhaul, but that wasn't a big deal. However, there was only one
b&g scene, and it was very short. I'll bet the changed some of
the writers as well (goes with my theory about certain writers).

3. I checked out Phil's site, and was able to see pictures with
even with the AOL browser. Looked like four from "Assault on Dome
4" (great shots BTW).

Brian R

And I still won't pay to access web pages!

Thu Jun 26 18:33:29 Eastern Daylight Time 1997

Re: The Flipper Scene

Sorry, no chloroform. The guy brandishes a gun, and next thing we
see is the trio tied-up in the lab. (I say trio, 'cause the
teenage boy is in there too. Why couldn't they have added him to
the rescue squad? Forgive me if my orientation is showing, but he
almost (I stress _almost_) ruins the scene for me.) The DiDcaps
are on my list of things to post to "the vault." Should I add
them next?

Van
http://patriot.net/~vanhar/vvv.htm

Another thing: I saw somewhere that "Sliders" is being picked up
by Sci-Fi channel, including at least 22 new episodes. Go Kari!

Brian R

With all the new vidcap sites here is brief list of scenese I
have always dreamed of seeing....

* Demi Moore on General Hospital, very famous
* Emma Samms on General Hospital
* Michele Phifer, from the old TV series

Along with these rare ones.....

* A show called "Whiz Kids", in an episode in which a bunch of
spies turned on a preatty female partner and tape gagged her. the
thing I loved abot it was that she had on a skirt and heels and
they tied her feet an placed them up on a coffe table.

* Not sure of the show, but it was about a bunch of misfit cops.
the episode had a fashion designed kidnapped and bound gagged in
a wearhose. She had a nice short skirt on and you got a great
shot of her bound legs.

* Last but not least there was a female side kick on the show
"Sledge Hammer". I always had a thing for her and wondered if she
was ever B&G. She had great legs. Suposenly she was ties up once.

As you can tell I love scenes where a nice set of legs are tied
up and the actress is gagged.

I would love to see vidcaps of those scenes.

MainStream

I gather the "girl with black hair" in the FLIPPER scene wasn't
Colleen Flynn (Damn! Her and Jessica b & g together...)...wonder
who the actress was? Did the brief bondage scene this season also
feature Jessica Alba? She was the one cast member who was
retained (seeing how she caught on with the het male audience
:)...

Anthony

Re Flipper:
1. The episode with the great scene from last year was "Past
Tense".
2. I've been unable to determine the other actress's name, she
played a recurring role as a research student or something.
3. Colleen Flynn had one minor tie-up, wrists in front.
4. The episode from this year was an Hispanic woman, I didn't get
her name either.

Brian R

Say guys, anybody got a copy of LET'S GO PLAY AT THE ADAMS'
HOUSE??
If not, can you remind me who wrote it so I can check out of
print
bookstores?

Terry

The Holy Grail of books.

(1) Just a quick note to let you know I've posted some Jessica
Marie Alba "Flipper" DiDcaps (and hope to post more) and some
Kathy Ireland "Gridlock" DiDcaps to my site. Enjoy!

(2) No definite bondage/DiD info to share yet, but the dam has
broken on the new "Avengers" movie. Photos from the set and the
first publicity pics have begun surfacing. Among them: Uma
Thurman in a skintight black leather catsuit!!! ...with a
snakeskin finish!!! To see the pics, go to:

Keep your fingers crossed. Where catsuits go, surely rope, tape,
leather restraints, and/or Diabolical Devices will follow!

To Mainstream,
The female blonde sidekick on "Sledge Hammer" was B&G in an
episode featuring a female
(Pat Benetar look-alike) psycho killer. She was
tied to a chair with a tight black cleavegag and
had some tasty "mmmmmph"-ing.

This sounds like the show "Downtown". The actress was Nana

The discussion of the episode from "Flipper" made me ponder a
bit. The first season of that show was great, and it got me
thinking of shows that only ran a short while, but had a number
of great scenes. Some of these "One Season Wonders" are:

1. The Flash. Ran 22 episodes, and had four different ones with
B&G scenes. Among the actresses were Joyce Hyser, Yvette Nipar
and Corinne Bohrer. The beautiful Amanda Pays got herself tied a
few times, but never gagged (rats!).

2. The syndicated Stephen Cannell show "Cobra". Some of the
actresses to get in a bind were Allison Hossack, Constance Marie,
Deanna Milligan and Melissa Behr.

3. The recently cancelled "Two" (another Stephen Cannell
production). Featured DID included Barbara Tyson, Allison
Hossack, Laurie Holden, Suzy Joachim and Sandra Nelson.

Brian R

One Season Wonders. Another favorite topic of mine.

The actress who had the scene on "Sledge Hammer" was Anne Marie
Martin, who also played Gwen on 'Days of Our Never Tied". She
went on to co-author the movie "Twister" and is now married to
Michael "Jurassic Park" Crighton, which is probably why she
doesn't act anymore. Doesn't need the money! Re: One season
wonders. Bet on it! If more than one gal gets tied and gagged in
the first couple of months, its a goner. Bet with a bit of
thought, we could come up with more series with multi-first
season ties that never saw a season two than we could ones that
did. And to Spud, thanks for the Network News tip on Alicia. Its
very quick, but hey, thats what freeze frame is for. And yes, to
those who missed it, it is a tape cleave gag, which ought to make
both camps happy. And boy can that gal ever open her mouth wide!
A ball gag would fit in there very nicely, thank you! (Suspect
we'll be waiting a bit for that one though!!)

Sat Jun 28 15:17:37 Eastern Daylight Time 1997

Hi,
For Jazz: Here's what I've been able to come up with for scenes
on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
On an episode titled "April Fools Day" April is mistaken for a
princess at a costume ball, and is captured by Shedder. He gags
her, and runs around with her for about the last five minutes of
the episode.
There is another one which is the first apperence of the Rat King
in which he b&g April and takes her to his lair in the sewers.
I know there's more, I'll get back with the others as I check my
tapes.
For Van: By far the best vidcap site around. Thank you for the
great effort.
For anyone who listening (Or reading, as the case my be): Alicia
Sliverstone looks damn good in a gag.
For Brian: The 4th woman to be b&g on the Flash is Jeri Ryan,
late of NBC's "Dark Skies", now the new Borg crew member next
season on "Star Trek: Yoyager".
Hey, two postings and I haven't gone on off on a tangent yet. I
must be get soft in my old age.
Keep watching.

Lard

Sat Jun 28 18:06:57 Eastern Daylight Time 1997

Thanks Lard. I hope to try to get as much information as possible
on any scene, and the greater detail, the better.
I need to go looking for a wider variety of cartoons. Dennis the
Menace (the cartoon, not the TV show) just got cancelled from
USA, which is a shame, because one episode had a great scene in
which Margeret (the bespectacled girl) was witnessing two men
planning to rob a bank from underneath in the sewers (I forget
what she was doing down in the sewers...), and told them that
what they were doing was wrong, so one of the men said "hey look,
a girl, let's tie her up" and they tied her up, arms at sides,
then she kept telling them they'd never get away with this, so
the other said "she talks too much, let's gag her", and so the
other gagged her and she "mmmmmph"-ed a lot! The entire episode
(they show several episodes in a half-hour) was about this and
Dennis and Joey trying to rescue her. Very prolonged, and great!
If anyone has a screen shot (or several) from this episode, I'd
really appreciate seeing it.
Anyways, I was thinking, we should take some time to remember any
bondage scenes we saw in cartoons in as much detail as we can
remember (I love detail), how prolonged they were, how the person
was tied, who was tied, the reason why (sometimes in comedy-type
cartoons characters get tied up for non-sinister reasons), things
like that. Anyone have their two cents to add?

Cartoon fans should check out "Hercules" - Disney's latest
animated feature. Meg is used as bait by Hades to lure Herc into
a trap. If you've seen the trailer, she's the babe with the
purple hair and the attitude. He ties and gags her with wisps of
smoke (trust me, it looks better than it sounds). Nice mmmphing
(by Susan Egan) and closeups.

Two more things - each Disney animated character is drawn by
his/her own team of animators, who frequently use the person
doing the voice as a basis for facial expressions. Given how
"animated" the gagged Meg is, did Susan Egan practice mmmphing
for their benefit?

Secondly, Disney published "novelizations" of its animated
features. Given the intended audience, these are mostly pictures.
Well, on page 67 of "Hercules," there is a drawing of a bound but
not gagged Meg. Bummer.

Just got back from seeing "Ulee's Gold," the new film with Peter
Fonda. At the end, there is a pretty good scene--three ladies,
the mother, her very cute teenage daughter and other younger
daughter, are bound to chairs and gagged with duct tape. Close up
shots of the wrists being taped behind the chair, and a very good
duct tape gag, with the tape wrapped around the head instead of
the typical, lame strip of tape over the mouth. Only a few
mmmpphs though.

Patricia Richardson of "Home Improvement" is in this film, but
she is not B & Ged. I don't know the names of the actresses who
are, however.

Two more series that had good beginnings and got canceled in the
first year are Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Three tie ups) and Spy Game
which had another scene last night. How do you guys judge a good
scene from a bad one? What I look for in a scene ranked in order
of importance: 1. struggling 2. close ups of bound hands or bound
feet 3. bare foot 4.good gag 5. attractiveness of actress

Hi,
Well, it had to happen someday. Time for me to rant.
I happen to agree with everyone when there is a show with lots of
b&g in the first season it seems to get canned.
Lois&Clark seemed to work this differently as Teri Hatcher wasn't
b&g until the first episode of the second season. After that, she
was getting gagged all the time (Which makes sence since Superman
has super hearing. There was a joke even made about this on the
excellent Superman animated series on the WB. When a bad guy
captures Lana Lang and ties her up in a steel factory with a lead
roof so Superman can't see her, he doesn't gag her. So, Superman
finds her and makes the comment that he thought of everything
except his super hearing.).
If I'm right the Spider-Man show of the 70's didn't last more
then a season and a half, and look at all the gagged actresses on
the that show.
Which brings me to my next point: that super-hero show are great
series for good b&g scenes.
Superman (the 50's and 90's), Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash,
Spider-Man, even the short lived (But fondly remembered) Sable
were all good series for bondage. Then again these series lend
themselves more to this then, say, NYPD Blue, which deal more with
killing then kidnappers.
Next season there is an adaption of NightMan, a comic from
Marvel, that is going into synd., and is produced by the great
Glen Larson (Bionic Woman, Battlestar Galactica). I wonder what
we can expect from this series. Hopefully, it will take lessons
from it's brothers and sisters, and we can have another series to
watch now that Lois&Clark and Two are history.
Then again maybe the would like to be around for a second season.

Just Thinking.

This posting is a variation of the Fantasy TV show discussion by
way of the cartoon bondage postings that have cropped up
recently. I was in the mall yesterday trying to decide which
"Scooby-doo" t-shirt to buy when it hit me: What we need is a
live-action version of "Scooby-doo Where Are You?" The premise
would be the same as the classic cartoon series, and would try
for the same light comedic feel---with a dash of "Buffy the
Vampire Slayer"'s darkness. Now to the important part: The
casting!
Daphne --- Nikki Cox! (Who else?)
Thelma --- Angela Watson (with her hair bobbed and fake glasses.)

The guys --- Who cares?
Scooby & Scrappy --- Real dogs (with CGI talking lips.)
The writers guide would specify at least two DiD scenes per
episode. Daphne getting snatched and B&G'd would be the series'
signature running gag (pun intended. {g})
What you think? Who would _you_ cast?

Van demonstrates that he is psychic, and predicts the live-action Scooby Doo. Missed on the actress for Daphne, who'd have guessed SMG?

The Avengers, often mentioned here, is a great example of a show
with lots of B&G that lasted for many seasons. Actually there was
a series before Mrs Peel with Mrs Gayle and after Mrs Peel there
was Mrs King and finally a series with Purdy. All were great.
Some would also say that there was even a series with Steed
before Mrs Gayle, in that series Steed was the #2 and I can not
remember the name of his #1.

Hi,
Harold, that's just one show. Along with The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
show with a lot of b&g are generally unsucessful. I wonder if
there is a connection here? Does too much bondage on TV have an
adverse affect on people, or just Americans?
I know it doesn't bother me (and everyone else here I suppose),
but maybe this offends other people?
Or maybe, deep down, most of the shows stink, we just watch to
see the women tied up?
Well, onto Van's Scooby-Doo series.
Van, do you have this thing for Nikki Cox? I'm beginning to
notice a pattern.
Well, Hanna-Barbara has been looking for a live-action film to
follow The Flintstones. I heard that Johnny Quest was the front
runner, but maybe we can con them into your idea. Altough Johnny
Quest is okay as long as Jessie gets b&g, but I like your concept
better.
For Jazz: If you have HBO you missed the excellent adaption of
Tood McFarlane's Spawn (Again an excellent comic series from
Image). In the last episode Spawn's ex-wife's daughter is
kidnapped by the mob, then only to be re-kidnapped by
child-killer Billy Kincad. The whole time she has her hand tied
behind her, and blindfolded.
Later, she has a gag added with the blindfold. Then in the
climatic car chase she is in the back of an ice cream truck,
minus the blindfold and only gagged. Lots of MMMMPPHH-ing there.
BTW Jazz, were you as let down as me with the fact that other
then the first episode, Jessie was never b&g again in the New
Johnny Quest? The show had so much promise.
Well, on with your evenings, I've had my say for the day.

Sun Jun 29 20:52:20 Eastern Daylight Time 1997

To Lard: actually, Jessie was tied up several
more times, and tied up longer on-screen and
with better ropes! Look for the episode with
the cave and Ezekial (sp?!) Rage for a better
tied up scene. She was never gagged again, as
I recall, though.

Nice early morning time waster, whenever I don't
care for the episode of Inspector Gadget they
are showing on Nick.

Jazz411

Okay here's a couple of things.

1) I can't remember the show's name and its been killing me for
some time. It had a scene
with a woman being tied in a building that is going to blown up
for a televsion show.
Dean Martin was a regular guest on the show. It was a dectetive
show. She was tied and as cameras are
rolling she was gagged on screen. Then she was going to be untied
and a dummy was going to put in her
place, but the director was not a nice guy and wanted her to blow
up with the building (talk about a guy
with no imagination).
2) On the idea of shows that have a short run that have women
B&G.
I think you folks have forgot about Dukes of Hazzard. That lasted
for a while.

re: Rex
If memory serves right it was Mary Margaret Hume ( of the famous
Fall Guy episode) the series-whose name escapes me totally - was
about a dwarf toy maker who got involved with crimes. I think it
stared Warwick Davis, but as I say I draw a total blank on the
series name.

Was just over at the Internet movie data base and after trying
everything I could think of: The show was "The Wizard" with David
Rappaport- not Davis. Also had a short scene with Kristen
Meadows.

re: Rex
Okay, I had a brain fart. The show was from 1985- "Half Nelson".
I finally looked up Humes' BD scenes in Marburger's "Scene,
Screen and Dream" book- which by the way while sadly out of date
is still a great source of bondage scenes. Sorry about the above
two posts.

Based on previous big-screen adaptations of old television
programs, I have reason to think that bondage scenes might be the
only saving graces of that new "Avengers" movie. The casting of
Uma Thurman alone strikes me as a sign that the producers are out
to lunch on this one. I believe that Ralph Fiennes was being
considered for Steed, another odd pick. I was discussing this
with a friend of mine the other day, and
we came up with Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley as a more
interesting and logical choice. And I'd rather see Hurley bound
and gagged than Thurman any day. Ah well.

I heard from a friend in LA that Scooby Doo was being considered
as a real life movie. They cast Daphne as Nicole Kidman. ??????
anyone know and did anyone get those Silverstone scenes?

re Ulee's Gold

Based on the Internet Movie database, the likely actresses are
Christine Dunford (mother - she has the most acting credits),
Jessica Biel (teen) and Vanessa Zima (youngest daughter - since
she is only 9 years old).
From what I can tell this movie is getting a lot of critical
praise. Peter Fonda has come a long way since "Dirty Mary Crazy
Larry."

More info on "Ulee's Gold" - Jessica Biel is the teenage daughter
on "7th Heaven." This series has several websites if you want a
look at her.
Orion Pictures has web page devoted to the film -
http://www.orionpictures.com/uleesgold/index_js.html - which
might be helpful in deciding if you want to take your wife or
girlfriend (not both, of course) to see it.

Re: The "Avengers" movie.
Being a dedicated Avengerphile, I've been following the on-again
off-again machinations surrounding the movie for some time. First
Emma Peel was going to be played by Nicole Kidman. (Now _that_
would have been perfect!) Nick developed a case of conflicting
commitments, so the next name that surfaced was Gwyneth Paltrow!
Same thing. Too many movies, too little Gwyneth. Finally, Uma
Thurman wound up with the part. (After seeing "Austin Powers,"
Liz Hurley became an _obvious_ choice, but I never heard she was
even offered the part.) I still want Nick Kidman for Mrs. Peel;
however, if you've seen the previews of "Peace Maker," at one
point a character in voiceover says something like "If you harm
her in any way..." and I think he's talking about Kidman's
character. A slender thread, but maybe we'll finally see Nick in
the DiD scene we've always hoped for. If not, her _next_ role is
in the mysterious Kubrick film "Eyes Wide Shut" which is rumored
to be a kinky thriller of some sort. Fingers crossed!

There's something I've been noticing for several years now. That
women's Lifetime channel has a heck of a lot of tie-ups. Anybody
else notice this?
